Francois and Francoise were lovely hosts - they made us feel very welcome in their home. They also knew enough English to compensate for our lack of French, and we were be able to communicate the essentials! They provided us with all the information we needed, such as places to eat and tips for our onward journey into Spain. ||||There was the option to eat with them in the evening, which we politely declined, as we wanted to explore the nearby town Oloron-Sainte-Marie. After eating their breakfast the next day, we were rather disappointed we didn't take them up on their offer (although Oloron-Sainte-Marie is a lovely quaint little town that is certainly worth a visit)! There was a huge array of different breads, jams and cakes, all home-made. It was one of the tastiest breakfasts I have had.||||Our rooms were spacious and modern, and very comfortable. And we had amazing views out over the countryside. A very idyllic setting.||||I definitely recommend this little...

Just stayed for a night and felt it was not sufficient to enjoy the calm, the views, the place....|The room was very comfortable and very clean. |As for the couple François and Françoise were friendly people and she prepared a breakfast very tasty: crepes, some cakes, all home made. Special mention to the confitures, elaborated with their own peaches, cherries, etc. Yummy!||A "negative" thing was the wake up moment to take the breakfast, the host requested to take it at 8.30 a.m and we just have liked more time to sleep and not having to be awake...

A modern guest house with a very friendly couple living upstairs. The guest room is spacious with possibly to include a third bed. Views of the Pyrinees from the window and attached bathroom to refresh yourself. You can leave your pilgrimage ride (horse, mule or donkey) in the paddock outside. Or just park your car in the parking lot... Wineries can be visited within 10 minutes drive. The hosts can arrange dinner with wine and join you for a lovely evening on the terrace! I want to...
