La maison au cèdre — Hotel in Périgueux

This beautiful 'chateau" is home to two extremely professional, kind and wonderful hosts. Nothing is too much trouble, they want you to feel like family staying in their sumptuous and lavish comfortable home. Exquisitely decorated each room full of art, matching decoration, quirky pieces and the most comfortable bed. We had the Empire Suite, a huge room with ensuite and enormous terrace which had a sofa and table, 2 chairs and table and two sunbeds. Delicious home made breakfasts of tea or coffee, orange juice, fresh fruit, bread, croissants and pain au chocolate and a great cake made by Roberto. Gardens and pool area divine, so very relaxing. We stayed at La Maison au Cedre for 4 wonderful nights. Bruno and Roberto are the most hospitable of hosts and welcomed us into their home like old friends. The house is beautifully decorated with eclectic artwork everywhere and has been restored and refurbished to provide luxury accommodation of the highest quality. We stayed in the large Empire Suite which has a very comfortable bed a luxury en-suite shower room, a large private terrace overlooking the gardens and lovely spotless swimming pool. Une parenthèse de bonheur

Nous sommes restés à la maison au cèdre pendant une semaine et avons passé un très bon moment aux côtés de nos hôtes.

Bruno et Roberto ont réussi à créer un véritable écrin qui nous a transporté tout droit au XIXème siècle, à l'époque de Napoléon III. La décoration mêle également ancien et moderne avec finesse et un goût certain.

La maison, ainsi que notre chambre donc, ont été d'une propreté irréprochable. Tout était là pour correspondre à nos besoins tout comme Bruno et Roberto qui, dès le début, étaient aux petits soins 🙏 Nos hôtes ont toujours été de très bon conseil pour visiter la région et transmettre ces "petits trucs" qui vous permettront de vivre une belle expérience touristique 😎

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine. Le lieu est magnifique, entouré de verdure... Vous pourrez profiter de la piscine, flanner dans la petite forêt qui entoure le domaine tout en étant accompagnés de trois félins qui adorent les gratouilles ! 😉😽
