Booked two rooms here for an overnight stay in July 2015, just a couple of days before the Tour de France was coming through town. ||Other hotels in the area had ramped up their prices, and there was lots of tour-related activity in the area, but the prices here were exactly the same and they were not taking advantage||The rooms are very compact, and the toilet/showers are of the plastic pre-fabricated style, but while small, everything you need is there.||The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable, so a good night's sleep was had.||Breakfast was very good and the visit was made very much more pleasant by the hard-working family who operate this hotel. Not only were they very friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy to give us advice and directions to local restaurants and shops.||The overnight cost for four adults, with breakfast, was less than 100 Euros and combined with free wi-fi, and secure parking, made this an excellent stop.||This place is what it is - a budget overnight hotel - and is one I would definitely use again if I am ever in the area for a day or so, but it is not really suitable for an extended family holiday and does not...
Read moreBasic, would be an appropriate word to use to describe the hotel.||My room was quite small with twin beds and a very small pre-fab bathroom unit. Decor is dated but as a place to lay one's head for the night there is nothing onerous about it.||Staff were very friendly and welcoming and there is parking right outside the main duplex of rooms. Ample hot water and working air-con - always a good benchmark.||Breakfast was good, too.||The biggest drawback was that the hotel's location is on a main road and with no easily walkable route to get anywhere without walking on the busy road.||There are also no picturesque views, it's definitely a function over form type of place and everywhere around is quite business park and semi industrial.||As a place to get a good nights sleep and freshen up it's perfectly...
Read moreThis is more like a motel than Hotel, the location is not as described on the website i booked with, it is about a ten minute drive from anywhere so is not suitable for someone without a car. It is described as near the airport and town but a taxi to the airport was quoted as €30-35, when we debated the price we were told it would be €20-25 which i still thought was alot considering it was supposed to be near the airport (Pau). Pau airport no longer has any buses running from the airport so a taxi was our only option, i would not stay at the hotel again simply because it was too far from anywhere. But the facilities were fine and the...
