Wether you are visiting Futurescope or the surrounding area or as an overnight travelling down to the South of France or beyond, you will not be disappointed with a stay at Le Maison de Martha. It is a property of character and beauty and has been rennovated with great taste and emphathy by Cathy the hostess. Cathy is an excellent host who will provide you with details of the local area, where to eat (even on a Sunday!) and if you book in advance, dinner. We made the mistake of not deciding to book dinner but will do next time! We discovered this hidden gem by chance and have made it our regular stayover between Spain and Germany. I love the personal flair, beautifully decorated interior and the cosy atmosphere, as it only has four rooms. The rooms are more than generous and designed with an eye to detail. You even have a wireless charger available next to your bed and a charging station for your electric car. I can also highly recommend the locally sourced gift items. Delicious! We have a small (and noisy) son but always feel really at home there. The only remark, I have, is that it would be nice to have a couple more healthy sugarfree breakfast options for the little one. Comme à la maison ...voire mieux ! !||Pour définir le lieu , l'accueil et notre hôte je ne connais pas assez de superlatifs !||PARFAIT...||Le cadre :||Une maison bourgeoise datant de 1904 entièrement refaite , fonctionnelle et reposante , extérieurs tirés au cordeau , parking privatif .||Grand salon , canapé , espace invitant au farniente, salle à manger décorée avec goût ||A l'étage chambres superbes , couchages xxl confortables, salle d'eau luxueuse ..sous les combles ...le paradis !||Notre hôte est affable , prévenante , allant au devant de toutes nos attentes ..||Pour le petit déjeuner la table presque trop petite pour l'occasion est garnie de produits " fait maison " ! !||Jus de fruits , fromage blanc du limousin , par quoi commencer ?||Car en plus elle adore cuisiner ..la brioche est sublime et ses confitures ( cerise ) vous replongent dans l'enfance ..||Quel bonheur de déguster un bon café dans de la porcelaine de Limoges !||Après une journée pleine d'émotions dans le parc d'attractions tout proche ( 5 minutes ) le repas du soir est le bienvenu !||Table finement décorée , verres en cristal , couverts en argent ici on met les petits plats dans les grands !||On nous renseigne et conseille sur le choix des vins qui s'avéreront excellents .||Un généreux et délicieux tagine succède aux poireaux vinaigrette de l'entrée .||Et en dessert pana cota et énorme saladier de mousse au chocolat (qu'elle récupérera totalement léché )||Notre logeuse semble être née avec un sourire accroché à ses lèvres , elle adore dialoguer et plaisanter avec ses clients ne cherchez pas plus loin les clefs de la réussite..||Un choix qui s'impose si vous cherchez une prestation très haut de gamme pour un prix très raisonnable.||Rapport qualité...
