Camping Bois Des Ecureuils in Guilligomarc'h Brittany – IS A HIDDEN GEM!||A Small friendly Camp Site in tranquil natural woodlands full of wildlife with salamanders, squirrels, hedgehogs, owls, birds singing & during our stay we were lucky enough to see the shy local deer make an appearance. The New Owners of the camp site; Paul & Davina have worked extremely hard to get the site into shape & opened up for their first year in 2022 after the site has been lay dormant for so many years, the owners are friendly, helpful & very informative of everything you would like to know about the area; places to visit, activities & local events. ||The site has 40 spacious individual pitches which are mostly defined by small hedges for privacy to accommodate; motor-homes, touring caravans, tents & also hires; caravan/tents, electric hook up is available & the site is dog friendly. It has very clean facilities; toilets & showers with constant hot water which are cleaned on a daily basis, a washing pot area, washing machine, Fridge & BBQ Hire. The on-site shop caters for all your essentials; food, drink, toiletries etc, the site also has bike-hire, table tennis, pé·tanque boules, woods to explore & a field to play games on & a new Play Park area for the children.||The site is in the middle of breath-taking countryside & makes an ideal base to go & explore; sightseeing, local attractions, scenic walking or biking, also there are nearby rivers for fishing, canoeing, water-activities, shops, bars, restaurants & not too far away are some of Brittany’s finest sandiest beaches for swimming & sunbathing!||We even met campers who had booked 1 night & liked it that much they stayed for a week!||Our stay was for 1 week in May 2022 & because we loved it so much we stayed again for 2 weeks in July 2022 & have already booked a return visit to this little hidden gem of a camp site for 2023.||As previous reviewers have stated: If you like a quiet relaxing retreat & nights with the sound of “popping corks & shuffling cards” then this is the site for you!||Reasonably Priced & Very Highly...

Accidentally (well, thankyou google) we discovered this campsite when we had just entered Brittany and needed a place to stay. It was 9pm and most camping sites were already closed. On our way in the car we reminded each other of that one time we arrived at a site in England when there were no hosts present but a note said to just find a spot and report the next morning. How easy and welcoming that was. And, by arrival at Bois Des Ecureuils we just saw the same note. That was the first good sign. Many more followed. Davina and Paul were actually present. They're the most wonderful hosts, friendly and always providing the best spots to visit in the area. The site is an oasis, we really enjoyed it and in the end we stayed for a week, something we seldom do. We''ll definitely come back...

My sister and I were camping there two years ago. We are super happy that the campsite ‘Bois Des Ecureuils’ in Guilligomarc'h has been completely refurbished by Davina & Paul. We used to come here as children with our family with the then owners Barbara and David. The pitches are spacious and it is very quiet. A beautiful natural campsite with lots of green and trees. Everything is very clean. When the shade hits your spot, you can use your chair to find a sunny spot.

My friend had an accident at the campsite and Davina & Paul helped call an ambulance. This was very helpful and for this we were very grateful to them.

In 40 minutes you can get to the cute village of ‘Doëlan ’ by the sea. You can also go for lovely walks by the coast. I definitely recommend...
