A lovely, well kept and well looked after camp site. The couple that run the site are extremely friendly and helpful. The site itself is immaculate. The toilet and shower block is always clean and stocked up. There is endless hot water at any time of the day. The other facilities such as the washing up area, the chemical waste disposal and the laundry area are also immaculately kept. ||||The Pitches are very spacious and there is a lovely mix of nationalities there. The new swimming pool is a real treat especially if you have children with you. The play area is lovely and the huge trampoline is loved by the kids. Our 3 year old made some lovely friends and riding around the site on his bike with them was the highlight of his trip. The site feels very safe and everyone is very friendly.||||Just down the hill about a 5 minute walk down (longer back up with a tired 3 year old!!!) there is a lovely cove like beach. The sand is beautiful and it is very quiet as it is almost exclusively for the campsite although locals obviously know it is there too. There was never a time when it was crowded. Due to it being cove like the waves can be quite big but not really big enough for surfing, body boarding yes. Our 3 year old found it a bit intimidating near the shore but the older children and adults there seemed to be really enjoying playing in the waves. ||||I would highly recommend this site to all ages, singles, couples and families. There are many options for staying there, camping, caravans, static caravans, lodges and safari tents. This was our second time staying at Camping Pors Peron and we would definitely...
Read moreWhen we arrived on site the children had returned to school and we were able to enjoy the site and the beautiful countryside in which it is set. On arrival at reception we were warmly greeted and given a plan of the site and told that we were to have a walk round and we could pick any of the pitches which were not already in use or reserved. The site is beautifully laid out with mature well trimmed hedges and well cut grass pitches with standard European electrical points, 10amp, and easily accessible water supplies. The toilet and shower block was immaculate for the whole two weeks of our stay and the heated and covered swimming pool meant that we could relax and float any time that we wanted from 10am to 8pm. For a more energising swim all we had to do was walk about 300 metres down to the beach which had just been voted the best in Brittany!||With so much beautiful countryside around us we were able to do so much walking, cycling and also relaxing that the two weeks just raced by!||Thank you Colin and Adele for your help and advice as to where were the best places to visit and on which days. We didn’t manage to fit everything in that we wanted to but that still...

They know the area inside out and really put themselves out to help visitors enjoy their stay.||The grounds are well maintained with an eye for detail and our pitch was large, close to water and surrounded by hedges. We even had our own friendly chaffinch in the adjacent tree! 5 stars every day. Give some thought to how to entertain your teenager - if...
