Stunning setting with a lot of history beautifully shown and explained throughout the house. It has a warm friendly homely feeling as it is also the family home for centuries. Watching the deer on the lawn from the bedroom window and also the birds was a lovely start to the day. Breakfast was laid out in the dining room along with the amazing honeycomb from their own bees!|Amazing! Great recommendation for dinner at 'Le Conptoir à Bulles, only a 7 minute drive away...blew our minds and was the best meal of our 18 day break through, France, Portugal and Spain. If you are here to visit the WWI battlefields and memorials then stay here to get in the mood. The Chateau is vey friendly, warm, but it is an old Chateau that was rebuilt after being destroyed in WWI. Restaurants are not convenient, especially at night (for me) so plan ahead. Unser Aufenthalt im Château de Belleaucourt in Coulommes-la-Montagne war einfach fantastisch! Das Haus ist schon fast ein Museum und man fühlt sich hier wie beim französischen Landadel zu Besuch. Das Zimmer war geräumig, komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit vielen liebevollen Details aus mehreren Epochen. Wir haben jede Nacht wunderbar geschlafen. Das Frühstück war hervorragend – eine köstliche Auswahl an frischen und lokalen Produkten, die uns perfekt in den Tag starten ließen. Ein besonderes Highlight unseres Aufenthalts waren die Gastgeber, Marie und Olivier. Sie sind unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend und haben uns das Gefühl gegeben, wirklich willkommen zu sein. Ihre Gastfreundschaft hat unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Es empfiehlt sich ein Auto dabei zu haben, der Ort liegt wunderbar ruhig.
