We stayed at this place for a wedding that was held at la domaine de la chasse in Iffendic and it seemed nice and close enough. It was a ten minute drive to the chateau with an average cost of €40 return which was pretty pricy I found for a journey that short. We stayed in one of the downstairs rooms with a window/door leading to the front of the property. The room was extremely rustic (bit dated really), but very cozy and with a very clean bathroom that had everything you needed. Even a hairdryer. The beds were comfy. The property has a beautiful garden with various fruit trees and an allotment with peacocks and friendly farm cats running about. The swimming pool was a nice addition which we used as well. Breakfast was great. We were attended to nicely and got what we asked for (French breakfast with additional eggs). The second morning there were crepes waiting for us on the table. The hosts were very friendly and helpful providing us with useful information on local amenities as well as taxi information. The only down side was the payment. They only accepted cash and there aren’t very many places close to the property to get cash out so I had to drive 10 minutes to get money. I suggest you book on booking.com or bring enough cash. The surrounding region is equally as beautiful with Tremelin and Brocéliande nearby as well as countless walks in the nearby countryside. If we could only stay...

We were sad to leave Paris, and the kids were complaining that they wished for more time there. When we arrived, we were overwhelmed with how beautiful this property was. Extensive grounds offered stunning gardens, flocks of ducks, geese and even a pair of peacocks with three little offspring. The rooms in this historic structure were comfortable and made you feel as if you belonged the French countryside. The breakfast was delicious and done with professional flair. Of course when it was time to go, our kids complained that they wanted to stay longer. We understood -- my husband and I wanted to...
