After reading the reviews for this motel on Tripadvisor I was surprised how nice the motel was, along with the proprietor. If you have a look at Booking.com there are a lot of good reviews, I saw these before my stay so I was a little less worried about it.||||The motel was clean, great decoration and was standard in size. We stayed in a triple room and it was facing the garden with was lovely. There was a summer kitchen which we made use of for making food, very useful. ||||It was quiet and the only problem we had was that the bathroom door didn't shut/lock properly, but nothing major at all. We didn't have the breakfast, but it looked ok from what the other guests had.||||The motel was in a nice area of Ile d'Oleron, maybe a little far from the beach (you'd need a car/bike), but would certainly recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet...

A wonderful garden setting, and it was great to have other guests milling about the different nooks and crannies that serve as seating areas. You couldn't find a hostess more willing to please and be pleasant. I only subtracted one star due to the constraining size of the room and its bathroom. J’ai séjourné pendant 6 jours dans une chambre individuelle et j’y ai passé une semaine vraiment agréable et reposante après mes journées de travail. La chambre était propre, colorée et entretenue quotidiennement. Le confort était au rendez-vous : une literie de qualité, des coussins moelleux… tout ce qu’il faut pour bien dormir.
L’accueil a été excellent et le jardin, magnifique. De jour comme de nuit, il offre un cadre paisible et visuellement très agréable, encore sublimé par les lumières une fois la nuit tombée.
Deux petits points à améliorer pour les années à venir : – Il serait utile d’avoir une borne de recharge électrique (7 kW ou plus) sur place. Ma Tesla Model 3 n’était pas compatible avec la borne à proximité, ce qui m’a contraint à chercher une station de recharge rapide à l’extérieur. Cela ne dépend pas directement de l’établissement, mais une borne dédiée serait un vrai plus. – Une prise de courant supplémentaire près du lit serait appréciée. J'avais besoin de brancher une machine respiratoire, mon téléphone et un ventilateur (période de canicule), mais le nombre de prises disponibles était limité. Une simple multiprise pourrait facilement améliorer le confort dans ce cas.
