New and modern, the Communal Gite at the Old Espeyrac school is a joyous stay for any pilgrim. Isabelle is a wonderful host and the Proprietor of the local store, or epicerie. Isabelle's rotisserie chicken is amazing. If you just walking through Espeyrac, stop by the epicerie for a dish of chicken, potatoes, cheese, and bread -- you can have a perfect French picnic. The gite itself is modern, comfortable and inexpensive. Espeyrac is a small beautiful French Village, and worthy of an overnight stop and only 13 Kms...

Clean and modern rooms and comfortable beds and a friendly welcome from Isabelle. However not much pilgrim feel as the dinner is a picnic from the epicerie and we are by ourselves mostly. Seemed like a lot of pilgrims we had not met the previous 9 days as either they stopped elsewhere or were just joining at Espeyrac. Passée à Espeyrac il y a deux semaines, je n'ai pas logé au gîte, mais me suis arrêtée faire quelques courses à l'épicerie tenue par Isabelle : quel bonheur sur le Chemin ! un accueil très agréable, des produits (yaourts par exemple) vendus à l'unité et à un prix hyper raisonnable, tout ce que demande le pèlerin. Je me suis ainsi organisé un pique-nique original, notamment en achetant et dégustant le farçou, spécialité délicieuse que lui avait fait découvrir sa grand-mère (au goûter !). Pèlerins, ne passez pas votre chemin, une pause chez Isabelle s'impose, et vous vous rendrez vite compte qu'il est loin d'en être de même dans tous vos villages étapes. Merci Isabelle pour votre accueil réservé aux pèlerins, ne changez rien surtout, seuls les éternels insatisfaits...
