My husband and I spent three nights at this lovely property while on a 3.5 week European vacation this May. Although we stayed at other hotels with more amenities, the Chateau du Vallegon was hands down the most memorable place we stayed due to the stunning beauty of the hotel and grounds. This was a convenient base for visiting Chenonceau, Villandry, Azay-Le-Rideau and Amboise, but then we got to go back to the hotel each night and experience a bit of what it might have felt like to have been a guest in one of these incredible castles. Our recent stay at Château Vallagon was truly delightful. The experience of staying in a beautifully preserved castle, with its original aesthetic intact, added a special touch to our trip. The castle’s charm and historical ambiance were simply enchanting, making it a memorable stay.

Though there is always room for improvement, the balance of quality & price at Château Vallagon is impressive.
We highly recommend it and would definitely return for another...

She not only gave us tips on where to eat, did our laundry (for a few euros), and even decorated the dining area for our oldest daughter's birthday. Tineke went above and beyond to make sure everything we needed was taken care of and made us feel like we...
