I doubt this will be published... but honest feedback is always good for a business. Firstly, the hotel property is incredible. It is very sleek, modern, well appointed, well thought out. The person who designed/built it, really put a lot of thought and passion behind it. However, in a property like this, I would have expected a more consistent level of service from the hotel team members. The evening staff at the restaurant, were EXCELLENT! They were very accommodating, but the afternoon lunch/bar staff were HORRIBLE! The breakfast staff were very nice, but not as attentive. We felt that the quality of food could have been better, to be honest. While the breakfast is free, the quality of food was just mediocre, I would have rather paid, for better food as there is no where else around to have breakfast without driving into Gustavia. I couldn't tell you the price to value ratio of the food, because we didn't even look at the prices. If you are concerned about price, you should probably stay somewhere else. The pool area is spectacular, the property is amazing, the rooms are very modern (there are not doors in the room, so if you are looking for privacy or sharing with someone you aren't partnered with, you may want to be aware of that). The Spa treatments are dated, while they call it the spa, it lacks some key features (sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room, etc) of a...
Read moreMy husband and I, along with another couple, recently had the privilege of experiencing the sheer delight of staying at the Christopher hotel in St. Barth. I must emphasize that this was not our first visit, as we have been loyal guests since 2018, entrusting only the Christopher hotel with our vacation aspirations. Nestled in the enchanting enclave of Pointe Milou, the hotel itself is an exquisite oasis that effortlessly merges with the breathtaking surroundings of St. Barth. What truly distinguishes the Christopher hotel is the exceptional level of service delivered by their remarkable staff. From the knowledgeable concierge to the diligent housekeeping team, every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt not only welcome, but truly valued. This harmonious blend of natural beauty, accommodations, dining, and unparalleled service creates an enchanting retreat that can only be described as paradise.
Oliver Leroy, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to you for continuously welcoming us back year after year. Your unwavering commitment to excellence never fails to impress, and I am truly grateful for the countless unforgettable memories we have created at the...
Read moreThe Hotel Christopher is fine, but there needs to be a serious focus on upgrading the service and food overall. For the location and money, I’d look somewhere else and I don’t think we will be back. There was a lack of attention to detail and attentiveness overall. It seemed a lot of the time there wasn’t enough staff and for the ones who were working, it took forever to get their attention. Poolside service was really really slow, the poolside bar was closed a lot, you had to search and ask for towels and chair covers regularly, and little things like extra water was never easy to get. The restaurant is ok…we had dinner the first night and the tasting menu was overall solid but there was nothing memorable. The shrimp dish should be replaced immediately and I would add a local fish dish. We had lunch the next day and it was awful…the famous “Chris burger” or fish sandwich had the smallest piece of fish possible; maybe 3 oz at most. Skip the hotel lunch and go to a local restaurant instead. The pool and setting is beautiful, but save yourself the hassle and stay somewhere else and rent a couple of chairs for a day and enjoy...
