What a fantastic extended end to our holiday. We selected this accommodation based upon tripadvisor reviews and what a result. Everything from the location in the Vosges to the standard and contemporary design of the Chambres d'hotes was simply first class. Breakfast was on another level with most of the delicious food being locally sourced or home produced to an exceptional choice and standard.||To compliment the experience the hosts Erick and Chloe could not have been more enthusiastic, energetic and helpful and two nicer people you could not wish to meet. Chez Jeanmyvonne is a home away from home! A hidden gem ... such a beautiful charming little hotel. The hosts Chloë and Erik are wonderful people, so nice and nothing is too much. We felt so welcome in their lovely house. The room was perfect, the beds were comfortable and the surroundings were great. The common room (with pool table and bar) is very cozy and welcoming. The homemade breakfast is a treat! Erik makes everything himself and every morning you get freshly baked bread, homemade jams, homemade yoghurts and other treats. We didn't have dinner there but other guests told us it was very nice too. Chloë is wonderful, she is such a nice person and really nice to talk to, she makes you feel right at home. We arrived at Jeanmyvonne with high expectations, due to the reviews, and were surprised that these expectations were not just met but easily exceeded! Great surroundings, beautiful and peaceful, and easy as a starting point for walking (or running). Very nice place to stay with super atmosphere. Delicious dinner with mostly local produce, even though we hadn’t ordered in advance - and preceded by the perfect aperitif on the sunny terrace. And the enthusiasm, energy and friendliness of Erick and Chloe on top of all that, just fantastic. The cherry on the cake: we went for a trail run the day of our departure (they, being trail runners themselves, had given us a map and good advice for a nice run) and they made sure we could still take a shower and change before driving off.
