The house is on the outskirts of a small village but we'll away from the road, on a cul de sac that goes nowhere and next to a mountain stream. The views from the house towards the Pyrenees are beautiful and unencumbered. The old farmhouse has been tastefully restored. We stayed in a large upstairs room with a very stylish bathroom and a lovely private balcony from which to enjoy the view. The owner Marion is a great hostess and we enjoyed her cooking talents for each of the evenings that we were there. The house wine is very acceptable and breakfasts were good. There are several walks that can be done straight from the house. Between the house and the village is a large riverside lawn with lots of shade for summer lounging. For birdwatchers there are a pair of Dippers easily observable five minutes upstream from the lodgings. ||We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights here; we had initially reserved for two nights but were pleased to learn that the room was available for one more night and seized the opportunity of an extra night in this little paradise.
