We camped in August for 2 weeks. This campsite is massive with a variety of pitch types - some shady and many in the sun: all preferences catered for. There are two toilet blocks - both of which are communal which I didn't like to be honest, but you get used to it! There are French toilets and English ones. The showers are all very warm but the newest cubicles are so small it's a bit hard to get dry but they are nice. Older showers have more space. The site doesn't have a shop of any description for daily produce, but it's not far to a well stocked village shop and local baker calls early each morning. A really good feature of the site is a lounge type room where you can sit and read or watch TV: it's fairly basic, but nice in the evenings later on in the season when the temperature can drop dramatically. English isn't spoken much at all on this site or anywhere else in the area for that matter, so a bit of French is enormously helpful and welcomed. The best thing about this site is the view of the mountains which is totally awesome. Wifi is available but the signal strength is poor and it's not really available far from the...
Read moreI stayed 3 nights on this campground and really enjoyed it. The terrain is very large, so you have plenty of choice on where to pitch your tent, and you get a real feeling of space. The open area allows great views of the surrounding mountains. There is free wifi, but it doens't work everywhere. There's also a room where you can sit and read, especially if it gets a bit cold (which it does at night, because of the higher altitude). Showers and toilets are rather clean (although I don't like those French toilets).||||Only disadvantage: if you don't take electricity, it means no electricity at all! There's no way to charge your phone or use an...
Read moreWhile reading the comments from other readers and considering the price I had to pay, I expected a kind of luxury tent. In fact, it was an ordinary tent with no bed but a simple mattress. The charged price has been slightly reduced (from 69 EUR to 59 EUR) after I showed that I was really disappointed by the level of price which was very high for what you get. For this price, you are in a camping with public showers and so on. The place (road bringing to the Mont Cenis pass) and the flowers which are in the camping do not justify at all such a high price compared with what you get. ||If you make a reservation there, ask precisely what you get for...
