Fantastic place. Spend here 3 nights, lovely owners, very helpful and easy going. We treveled on a motorbike, Alex the owner is a biker as well, he was ver helpful. The camp site is great, loads of space, trees, green. We had our tent set up with a nice view on the river. 30 min walk beside the river to Beynac. On Wednesday there is a food truck coming and you can order some nice pizza. If you want to rent cayaks its very easy. The bus pick you up just on the street at the camp site and if you choose the 22km cayak rout which I recommend :), you leave the cayak at the shore and the gear at the reception, just perfect. If you want to camp at the Dorgogne river I realy recommend this camping.

First year camping here and won’t be the last ! Basic but clean and sites have shade but ‘grass pitches’ are very sandy. Picked this one as there is a good beach which is more easily accessible than other sites nearby. The current here and most of the nearby sites is quite strong so if using your own SUP board / canoe, you’ll not get far upstream against the current. Drove to Roc Gageac to launch SUP as the current there is much less. Brilliant site for watching the balloons - currently around 715hrs and 1915hrs - looks idyllic set against the castles and river Lovely owners - nothing is too much trouble

Laid back campsite. Visited Aug 2024 and previous years. Enormous pitches with lots of trees. Leads to a river beach where you can watch the hot air balloons take off in the evenings. Magical. You can paddle and sit in the river watching the kayaks go by. Easy reach of Beynac and other châteaus. Excellent value for money. Clean basic facilities - shower block and toilets. Electric hook up available. Quiet family site. We will be stopping by again this year.
