First of all, the camping site itself is really pretty. Spacious pitches, beautifull swimming pool, and a quiet atmosphere. It's not far from some big supermarkets, and a couple of pretty beaches are nearby.
Second, the owners are completely crazy scammers that have zero interest in being customer friendly.
I booked a furbished tent, which on the website clearly stated included a private bathroom and kitchen. It did say the bathroom was located outside the tent, but it clearly was added as a private part of the tent. When we arrived, there was no bathroom and we were told you have to use the camping bathrooms. This is fake advertising, because when a tent clearly states "bathroom" on the inventory list, it means your own bathroom, not a shared one. We explained our issue with the receptionist, and she tried her best to help us by providing us with an other tent (which was way too big and also still dirty, but that was okay since there weren't any other ones available and we were just wanting to get what we booked, so including a bathroom). After unpacking, a screaming owner came to our tent, acting like we were asking for a free upgrade. I showed him the screenshots I made, which clearly stated there should be a bathroom, but he said the website was wrong and it's not his problem. We did book on their own website, not through another party. He never came with a solution (except asking us to pay 800€ extra for a dirty bungalow) and kept screaming, not only at us, but also at his receptionist (who was the only one trying to help). We soon understood that trying to come to a solution wasn't going to happen. The owners wife admitted that they were wrong, but still refused any solution. She told me she can't change the discription on the website, and it's all somebody elses fault. The next day, the website was magically changed. I included screenshots from our booking, and the day after the altercation.
It was all so ridiculous, and after driving 20 hours and sitting for 5 hours on a ferry with 2 kids (and me being pregnant), we chose to just take a more expensive tent and leave 4 days earlier (we even overpaid, and did not get that back either) because the owners kept asking for more money instead of fixing their mistake. They also refused to just gve back our money and let us leave. The new/more expensive tent also had a broken airconditioning (that was not fixed until the day after) and still had linnen from the previous occupants on the bed.
We are roadtrippers and go camping 6/7 times a year, for years, and have never ever experienced such bad customer service. We did not expect anything special, just to get what we paid for. Since I am pregnant and blind in one eye, going to a bathroom on the campground is not possible for me in the dark. Everywhere we stay, we book a pitch or tent with private sanitary. I read the website on multiple occasions, and double checked everything. The whole thing was fake advertising, and just sad.
Sadly this ruined the whole vibe. The girls working the reception are nice and do try to help though.
We also paid 300€ of deposit, and it took them 1.5 months to pay it back, so that's also something to...
Read moreThe boss of the camp is violent and his bartender also. They are rude, without manners and they beat the guests (e.g. me). Only police calms them down.
Response to the camping site: First: I did not have neighbours in the camp. So they could not tell anything. I did not have any contacts with other guests because I left the camp after breakfast and returned at night. When you were beating me, a guest who tried to calm you down told me I was right.
Second: The bartender told me to leave the camp when I asked him how to enter. Then he told me to go around even though the doors were closed. I told him something back and then both the bartender and the boss physically attacked me and the same time. That is how they showed their courage.
Third: Police came after I called them and when I told them the boss was beating me when asked. And after I told them that the boss was treathing me he will beat me again the next morning. The police later put him on his place, since I said by myself, that I will leave the next day and that I do not want to see him or speak to him again. The boss did not dare to show up the next morning.
I am camping for 25 years now and I was in this camp 17 years ago. The management was different then.
Did you really think I will return ever? Who would stay in a place that is run by uncivilised people who only understand violence. No wonder the camp is half empty even in the high season.
And you know your lies will not help to clear your name. And dragging my family into this does not help your lies either. It just shows how small you really are.
Second response to the camp site: Your second response only confirms what I already wrote, that is how small you really are....
