Chambres d'hôtes - Ile du Saule — Hotel in Saumur

The woman who owns the B&B is very nice. The site is very, very charming! (trees, nature, a beautiful old house, etc.). Saumur is a 20-25 minute walk (same for the railway station), so it's ideal if you'd like to visit the town but still stay in a quite and peaceful B&B. The cheapest in town I'm aware of! Breakfast is simple but there's plenty of it, served in nice porcelain.||The rooms are charming, but the bad side is they're old and could use some serious dusting. Valérie and Stéphane were fabulous hosts. It was a perfect stay! The house is in the nature and yet so close to Saumur city. We had a warm welcome not only by the hosts, but also from their animals- a golden retriever, a cat and a few sheep. The kids loved the place, they also enjoyed playing ping pong after a full day of visiting in the vicinity !
