Camping Le Mont Cesar — Hotel in Senlis

We loved this campsite! We had intended this to be a stopping off point on our way down into France from Calais, and it turned out to be a comfortable few hours drive. The location next to the Oise was very scenic, and the local town had all the shops you would ever need (although we spent far too much in the local patisserie!). The pitches were all level, and kept up to a good standard. The showers and facilities were more than adequate, and all working as one would expect. The site is set onto different levels up a hill and we chose to be on the top level at the back. As a result we had ultimate privacy and a large area to ourselves as well as an electricity point. The downside to this is that the shower blocks were a 10 minute walk away. We chose that though.||||You can camp next to the shower blocks but that area was busier, it is purely your choice. Nach dem sehr netten Empfang wurde mir ein schöner Platz zugewiesen. Strom in direkter Nähe, sanitäre Anlagen über drei kurze Treppen gut zu erreichen. Sehr sauber! Duschen sind im Preis mit enthalten und richtig gut. Die Aussicht vom Platz aus ist einzigartig. Mein Platz war sehr groß, sehr ruhig. Hund war kein Problem. Vom Platz aus kann man direkt zu den Kreidefelsen wandern. Die sind auf jedenfall einen Besuch wert. In die andere Richtung geht es an den Steinstrand und in den Ort. Beides fußläufig ohne Probleme zu erreichen. Morgens gibt es am Platz einen Brötchenservice. Preise völlig im Rahmen. Ich habe pro Tag 16,50 Euro bezahlt. 1 Person, 1 Dachzelt, 1 Hund incl. Strom und Dusche. Also Preis auch sehr angenehm. Im Bereich der Rezeption kann man gemütlich sitzen und bei einem oder mehreren Gläsern Wein den Tag ausklingen lassen.
