Hôtel Spa Le Moulin De La Wantzenau — Hotel in Strasbourg

Owner is extremely rude and has poor communication skills. When you bring up certain issues and try to discuss them with them, their only response is that they did nothing wrong and that you are to blame!

When I confronted the owners about certain issues I felt needed to be addressed, they first denied any wrongdoing. After a few back-and-forths trying to explain that something went wrong on their end, they raised their tone and began insulting me. I even heard the male owner say "Putain" somewhere near the end, which totally shocked me! I kept my cool and told them that this is not the way to communicate with or treat customers. In the end, both owners simply left mid-argument because they apparently thought it was unimportant. They left me with a bad experience and no customer service because they didn't find a solution to the problem at hand and didn't apologize for it. A genuine apology, in my opinion, would have been sufficient. Their pride, however, held them back.

Overall, I would not recommend this location if you do not speak the French language. Because their English communication skills are poor, they will not treat you properly when you address issues that you are experiencing, and will even go so far as raising their tone and insulting you.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s in a lovely peaceful setting. Our room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. An added bonus was the fine dining restaurant across the courtyard. We ate there on our first evening. The other diners were all French but all staff spoke English and one waitress was particularly helpful especially with choosing wine. It is quite a pricey establishment but the quality cooking is worth it. We were concerned on the journey to the hotel that we had chosen badly as it seemed a long way out from Strasbourg - the focus of our visit. We had no need to be concerned. On arrival the friendly receptionist told us that the tram terminus was just 6 minutes drive away and gave us information about it. Within 30minutes of leaving the hotel we were in the centre of the city for less than £4 return for both of us having left the car in a secure car park and had a stress free journey. I recommend this hotel and would return if I visit...

When the Family travel they need comfort and hospitality. |In this hotel we didn’t receive NOTHING |START ||a hotel that focuses on the fact that it has a swimming pool and it is not included in the price, there is a restaurant and it does not work, there is another restaurant nearby, but they basically do not accept guests from the hotel, because the hotel management is hostile towards the management of the Restaurant, while the cost of 170 euros must be paid separately for air conditioning, separately paid for almost everything that should be included in the room services. it’s so hot in the room that it’s impossible to breathe when you open the Windows, which we did with great difficulty, the room turned into a mosquito hive, the water is hot intermittently, there’s not even water in the room, the parking is occupied by guests from the Restaurant, we had to park on the field outside the complex.
