We stayed on the camping for 14 days in August 2020 with a caravan. We found the camping really nice. We had a big camping place near the Doller. In the Doller you can cool down a bit besides that there is a small lake where you can swim. There is also a fishing lake. The camping places near the Doller are really big and have a lot of shade from the big trees. But there are camping pitches near the lake that are smaller and the pitches also have less shade.
We found the sanitary good. And pretty spacious. There are enough toilets, douches etc. When it is busy at the sanitary there is not much warm water. Especially if you are going to do the dishes. For some people you need the walk really far for the sanitary, because the two sanitary buildings are not well devided over the camping.
Once in a week there is live entertainment on the camping. There is also a restaurant/bar at the camping the pizza's that we ordered were good. You can order bread for the next day.
The reception staff do there jobs good. Some of the staff speak German and English. But when it is busy at the reception you need to wait really long. For example if you need one washing coin, you need to wait for all the people that check in/out and people that have other long questions... The CAMPING IS CLOSED BETWEEN 12:30 until 14:30!! When you arrive 1 minute pass 12:30 you need to wait 2 hours in the burning sun!!! This is not appropriate for a large camping like this
But In the end I really enjoyed the camping! And there is enough to do outside of the camping. Enough big cities, the Vosges are close to the camping. There is a Hyper U near...

Fin de séjour AMÈRE ! Réservation pour 1 nuit dans le chalet Grand ballon dans le cadre d une sortie professionnelle avec mes collaborateurs, nous avions réservé convenu et payé les modalités 3 semaines a l avance sur le chalet Grand ballon plus un emplacement pour un camping car de 6m transportant la logistique pour 15 personnes a proximité du chalet.Accueil peu chaleureux a l arrivée, on te prends 200€ de caution, te donne les clefs et vas y débrouille toi avec le plan! Bref on s installe, je pose le CC sur une des places a proximité car l endroit attribué au cc pas du tout adapté au gabarit, inaccessible! On m a bien proposé un autre emplacement mais trop loin pour devoir traverser le site avec affaires et nourriture pour 2 jours...Ma réservation comprenait également une location de 2 tables (20€) qu on nous avait déposé sur l endroit inaccessible et qu on nous a laissé transporter a travers le camping a pied pour aller sur un autre emplacement pour manger le jour 2 a midi sur site a 15 personnes avant d aller a l accrobranche juste a côté. Le départ juste après.Jour 2 l emplacement toujours inaccessible pour installer le cc, on m accompagné sur un emplacement sympa a côté des sanitaires et d un petit air de jeux pour enfants, la réceptionniste me dit cet emplacement est libre personne ne le prend parce que trop près des vidange sanitaires, et air de jeux...Nous ça nous convient étant donné que le parking extérieur est complet celui ci est adapté.Pour la X ème fois je réexplique, on mange le midi, on va a l accrobranche a 14h30 et nous quittons le camping après... Programme calé, tout se passe bien...A notre retour, nous avons la bonne surprise d avoir la camionnette du camping collée contre le camping car pour pas pouvoir le déplacer, complètement bloquée...je me rend a l accueil pour des explications, là je suis reçu sur sur un ton hautain a souhait, en m' expliquant qu il va falloir payer un supplément parce qu ils auraient pu reloué l emplacement, que ce n' était pas convenu comme ça, qu il faut libérer a 13h, qu on aurait dû se contenter de ce qui nous avait été attribué, bref un ton EXÉCRABLE !!! Je rappelle donc a cette si charmante demoiselle que ça a été convenu comme ça, et payé comme demandé...Mais apparemment c était pas ce qui était convenu (vu avec 3 personnes sur 4 a l accueil...Je paye le supplément demandé 22.90€, et demande qu ils déplacent leur camionnette pour quitter les lieux, on me demande de retraverser le camping avec tables et bancs pour les ranger a leur place A quoi je répond qu a ce tarif ,ils le feront eux même!...A ce moment je me rappelle qu un camping est en THÉORIE un endroit convivial, accueillant, ou décompression, et moments agréables sont censé y être trouvés...L art et la manière de poser un véhicule ainsi pour bloquer ses hôtes c est juste une DINGUERIE!!! Bref, la petite réceptioniste qui me fait la leçon de morale parce que nous aurions dû nous contenter du choix attribué, toi qui va te reconnaître en lisant ce commentaire, et j espère que c est toi qui va devoir y répondre derrière tes airs de petit chef , ou a défaut j en discuterai volontier avec la direction du camping...je te propose de venir dans mon commerce, et je t apprendrai le management, le savoir être et a t'exprimer de manière convenable face aux clients avec un minimum de considération... C est sur cette mauvaise expérience que je concluerai en laissant ce sentiment de déception qui aura gâché...

Anreise ab 14:30 im Juni. Einfach nur Perfekt! Wir kamen um 14:25 an. An der Rezeption bekamen wir sofort den Schlüssel der Privaten Sanitäranlage. Die Frau hinter der Rezeption war sehr nett. Hier können alle ziemlich gut Deutsch.
Die Kaution von 100€ konnte man auch ohne eine Kreditkarte auslegen. Dies hat bei uns auch ganz einfach per Visa funktioniert.
Die Stellplätze sowie der gesamte Campingplatz sind super gepflegt, hier wird regelmäßig gemäht. Deshalb klare 5-Sterne für den Standort.
Der Service war überraschend super. An der Rezeption wurde der Wunsch 2 Tage mehr zu buchen, direkt erfüllt. Leider gab es die Privaten Sanitäranlagen dort nichtmehr, und wir sind auf einen "normalen" Stellplatz gewechselt.
Die Sanitäranlagen in der Mitte der Stellplätze ist einfach nur super. Hier wird oft geputzt, und es ist nie "richtig" dreckig.
Die Vorwürfe von anderen Bewertungen hier auf Google-Maps, das es hier nach Fäkalien richen würde, sind NICHT zutreffend.
Die Chemische Entsorgung der Camping - Toiletten ist ganz hinten auf dem Platz. Dort riecht es zugegebenermaßen etwas. Dies ist aber nicht sehr schlimm, da dort keine Stellplätze usw. vorhanden sind.
Der Campingplatz ist eher "etwas" kleiner, und daher sehr gemütlich und überschaubar.
Die Reise mit einem Hund ist super. Der Campingplatz bietet einen kleinen Fluss mit Steinen, ideal zum Spielen für Hunde, oder zum Staudämme bauen. Also wieder klare 5-Sterne dafür.
Der Naturbadeteich in mitten des Campingplatzes ist auch super, hier gibt es manchmal eine Hüpfburg, aber meistens steht die aufgeblasene Rutsche. Diese ist gerade für Kinder zum Spaß im Wasser einfach nur top!
Sogar hier im Juni ist es im Elsass schon fast 38°C heiß geworden, da bietet sich der Badeteich einfach nur an.
Für Fahrräder ist der Platz nicht sehr geeignet, da überall auf dem Platz für die Autos Schotter verteilt ist, können die Fahrräder hier nicht gut Bremsen.
Der kleine Waschsalon funktioniert auch top. Leider war der Wäschetrockner kaputt. Für 4€ je Wäsche und 4€ je 1h Trocken. Diese 4€ muss man vorher als Tokens an der Rezeption einlösen.
Die Frischen Croissants und die Schokoladenbrötchen sind super. Man geht am Vortag bis Abends zur Rezeption, und bestellt, sowie bezahlt direkt. Dann kann man die Brötchen morgens ab 8:00 abholen. Zum Frühstück top!
An der Rezeption gibt es eine "Art" kleiner Laden, dieser Verkauft "Not-Artikel" wie Marmelade, Milch oder Chips.
Der Hyper-U ist nur 3 Minuten vom Platz entfernt (mit dem Auto) das ist top!
