This Chateau is run by the fifth generation of a family. Bruno and his wife are very welcoming.||We had a lovely room on the third floor. The decor is quaint as befitting an old chateau. The bathroom was en-suite with a bath and hand held shower which was quite adequate.||The Chsteau only offers breakfast so you have to be prepared to go out for meals. As it was a Bank Holiday when we stayed the restaurants were mainly shut. We found a shop and had a picnic at the Chateau for the two nights we were there.||The grounds are extensive and there is a swimming pool for cooling off in (it is heated).||Lovely place to stay if you want peace and quiet (which we did).||No radio or tv. You have to talk to each other!|There is free Wi-Fi.||Nice sharing the breakfasts at a big table with other guests from...
Read moreWe took 3 rooms here for a long weekend in September. All the rooms varied in size and comfort levels, but each was equally charming. The Chateau does not offer an evening meal and be warned you are not local to any restaurants - they all require you to drive, but we were prepared so everyday we shopped for supper and had picnics outside when it was fine and in the lounge when it was wet. Our hosts did everything to help us with our picnic arrangements from providing additional bread to laying on crockery and cutlery as we needed it. For a peaceful and relaxing place away from the busy town of Tours this is an excellent choice - but be prepared to cater supper for yourselves or someone will need to drive to a restaurant each evening.||The pool was heated and lovely and te grounds very...
Read moreWe just returned from a three night stay at the Chateau. We were in the area to visit the Chateaux of the Loire and the experience of staying in an actual small chateau really made the experience. The family room was perfect for our family of three. The house is warm and inviting, the breakfast perfect, fresh bread and croissants in the morning and the grounds stunning. The best part of the experience is Bruno and his amazing hospitality. He was friendly without being intrusive and every recommendation he had was spot on from great restaurants to the lovely walk along the Loire. Would love to come back when the weather is better and enjoy a glass of wine in...
