La closerie de la Fuye — Hotel in Tours

We had a wonderful stay with Denis for one evening, and would have happily stayed longer. The home is steeped with history, and a beautiful mix of old & modern. The rooms are lovely and very large. As others have said, they have a variety of animals, which our kids loved (5&7Y). Breakfast was delicious and it was lovely eating with the other guests. We would absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Tours, but seeking a more unique and quiet place to actually stay. It's just a quick drive to anywhere in Tours (10-15mins from everything we visited), and parking in Tours was fairly easy, as long as your car isn't too big. And host is incredibly welcoming and patient with kiddos! Thank you for a wonderful visit Denis. Such a highlight...

An extraordinary and charming place to be. The spacious house is kept full of old memories and fitting furniture. Guest rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated. The bottom floor with library salon and dining room is open for use by the guests. Just sit back relax and dream of long past times. The garden is huge and also open to use. Denis runs this guesthouse like a place where you meet with friends. It is an open space for meeting with the other guests and the hosts. So breakfasts are shared together - food and conversation.
