Château de Martigny — Hotel in Val-de-Briey

This was our second visit to Château de Martigny, and it didn't disappoint. The welcome, ambience, food, and wine are excellent. The Château is authentic and atmospheric. The bedrooms are spacious and elegant, with large renovated bathrooms, all boasting superb views. The beds are also very comfortable. The "lady" of the house goes out of her way to ensure her guests have everything they need. She is an excellent cook and hostess. We were going to a wedding near by and we stayed in the Château de Martigny. We were completely under the spell of the place and more to the point of the owners, Hubert and Valérie, who were the most fantastic hosts. I didn't expect to find such a warm place in Lorraine region, for my 3 days stay!||The rooms are very good with a nice view on the park, the food is simply delicious and Valerie and Hubert make you feel at home (except it's actually nicer than home). ||We spent some great evenings talking about the chateau family history, and Hubert amazing trips to the North Pole, while tasting their local prune liquor.||I will definitely come back if I am around, and I strongly recommend the Chateau...
