Very disappointed as they still owe us a refund, 3 months after our holiday and numerous emails to them.
First off we are pretty laid back family and things don't normally bother us, can't remember the last time that I had such a bad holiday experience or such awful customer service.
Visited in July 2016 for 2 weeks and were pithed right beside the toilet block. As others have said the pitches are small but this wasn't a massive issues for us. Location is great right by the beach and the pool is really nice. In the day all was great and being by the toilet block and pool was actually handy with two small kids........
HOWEVER the entertainment goes on very late each night and is very noisy. There are also lots and lots or screaming kids running around the site. Loads of people complained who were in pitches right beside the pool and bar, but management kept saying that there would be no noise after 10:30pm, but every night it went on until at least 12:00pm and sometimes 1.30am. The entertainment staff just didnt seem to care and management were not that bothered, even though the receiption staff were friendly. This is a family campsite with all the entertainment aimed at kids so odd that it went on so late.
After we and others complained numerous times, we decided to leave after 1 week as our 2 and 5 yr olds were exhausted from being kept awake each night. The campsite reception agreed to a refund for the remaining week and agreed to a refund for the Wifi that never worked for the week we were there. They even charged us double for the Wifi so watch out for this. We left with the agreement that if we emailed over our bank account details they would issue a refund, so all was generally fine. We sent over the email as requested and then chased a few weeks later and then chased again and finally got a reply to say they would refund the wifi but not the remaining week. So we emailed back, but no reply, emailed again, chased again, etc, etc, etc. We are now 3 months after our holiday and haven't got a penny back from them and they just don't reply to emails. No refund for the wifi and no refund for the remaining week.
The location and the campsite itself are great if a little cramped, and if they just sorted out the noise and actually refund what they agreed to then it would be great.
If for some reason you do think of booking here then PLEASE PLEASE use a credit card and then at least you can get some money back if you are unhappy. Also make sure that your pitch is nowhere near the toilet block and pool. You need to be right by the edge os the campsite and by the sea. Also don't pay upfront for the wifi as it doesn't work.
As is becoming clear from other reviews they are a dishonest company and just don't care about their customers or refunding when things do not work.

Read moreThe site is located in a very pleasant area, just on the outskirts of the lovely little village of Penestin, which has a thriving market (on a Wednesday when we were there). This is predominantly a site for French holiday-makers, and doesn't seem to cater for British (or any other nationality) visitors, unlike other French sites where we have stayed in the past. On arrival, the reception staff's English was poor (although, admittedly, our French isn't that great either) but they were pleasant and friendly enough. We were allocated a pitch right by the pool and club house, from which you would get periods of very loud music blasting out intermittently throughout the day. We were also directly opposite the toilet block which, although very convenient for showering/washing up, etc. meant that we were on the main 'thoroughfare' and there was a constant stream of people walking up and down past our pitch on a daily basis, so privacy was a bit of an issue. The pitches themselves are ok, but quite small. You are tightly packed in and the boundary hedges are unkempt and overgrown, not much maintenance going on. There didn't appear to be any rules regarding playing of music or other noise, so you may find (as we did) that you end up pitched next to some idiot who insisted on playing his radio for hours on end each day, which was incredibly annoying and intrusive. The best thing about the place was the weekly 'pool party' which was fantastic for the kids, really excellent. Be warned, however, this doesn't start until 9pm and there is extremely loud music going on until midnight. Not much of a beach to speak of, very rocky, but great for cockle and mussel gathering. Also, be aware, the 'shop' on site doesn't sell milk??? So, if you are prolific tea or coffee drinker, or have little ones, make sure you are well stocked up! Nearest supermarket is at Herbignac 9 miles away; totally recommend the beautiful town of Vannes, around 40 minutes drive. Some beautiful quaint little villages around and about. Great area for cycling enthusiasts. Sadly, not a site we would return to, however, mainly because of the noise. Also, the reality doesn't match up to the website promise! (Avoid...
