This is a nice quiet site and we’ve had a lovely holiday in our touring caravan. There are some lovely sights to visit nearby but you need a car to get about. ||The pitches were a good size and we didn’t have any problems. There was some bad weather during our stay but the trees provide some shelter.||There is a very small beach just a short walk from site. It’s a mixture of pebbles and grit. To go to a nice sandy beach, it’s another car ride. ||There are food vans that visit the site with a different one every day. These were good value and we particularly enjoyed the pizza van. ||The Super U supermarket in Arradon is a short drive or cycle ride away where we found everything we needed. There is a very small shop on site and daily fresh bread and croissants. The warm croissants in a morning were a definite highlight of the holiday!||The slides in the pool area were brilliant and we would have spent more time there had we had better weather. The indoor pool was smaller than we’d expected from the photos. There is no lifeguard and due to some children not being supervised, it did get quite boisterous/ dangerous at times…kids climbing up the slides, running around the edge of the pool giving their friend a shoulder ride and jumping off the water fountains to name a few of the scary moments we saw!||Be warned, the toilets and showers are all unisex! This may not be an issue for some, but personally I found it disconcerting to have men talking just outside my cubicle so my husband had to accompany my daughter and I to the toilet and shower. The toilets also didn’t have toilet seats which wasn’t very comfortable or soap to wash your hands. ||All in all, this is a clean and good value site in a lovely area. However, due to the unisex toilets and lack of lifeguard, we wouldn’t chose to return. Next time, we’re going to stay further up the coast at Carnac or Trinite-sur-mer where the nicer...
Read moreWe looked forward to staying here having nice memories of previous stays. The site itself is lovely. Great location, good amenities and nice pitches.|Everything is let down by the fact they are running this place as cheaply as possible. It is understaffed so this means: no lifeguard in the pool area - therefore dangerous behaviour on the slides, horseplaying families running round throwing each other in the pool is a continual blight along with thoughtless people continually bombing the pool with no care for anyone else.|An understaffed bar devoid of charm with the poor girl who works there having to cook food, serve customers with beer, make ice creams, smoothies and fresh coffee - it's just too much for anyone. All the while, alarms go off every time someone goes through a doorway. Hideous.|At night, you may wish to get some sleep. Forget it before midnight because kids run amok around a central covered area and basketball court until way past 11 at night. This encourages inconsiderate behaviour from others. For example people running their diesel heaters in their vans through the night, causing noise and the dumping of diesel fumes on neighbours.|They need a night security guy to go round and make sure this sort of thing doesn't happen.|On arrival, I thought people looked miserable and unfriendly here - by the end of our stay, I understood why.|This was the most expensive campsite we visited and the worst by far in our 3 weeks in France. The best was a little municipal site in the rhone alpes but I am keeping that...
Read moreLovely green site, mostly private pitches (we camped in June). Great indoor and outdoor pool. Very ‘French’ toilets, everything was cleaned regularly and fine. Beautiful location with loads to do within easy reach. Beach is 10 - 15 minutes walk. Every pitch is garnished with shiny (assume new) WiFi provision. However this did not work and if this was my campsite I’d be asking for a refund from the people who installed it. I did ask at reception about it twice and they did promptly send the in house maintenance team to look but they informed me that the person who maintains it would come but they couldn’t say when. I was there for another 6 nights and it never worked. So a pretty perfect campsite providing you don’t need WiFi (which we do to plan our days out) Obviously they did not reduce the cost of the stay because the WiFi was not...
