Very disappointed!!!! We arrived late and went straight up to our apartment and pulled out the bed settee, which we didn't realise we were getting, only to find that the pillows left were disgusting and and a 'minging' quilt is probably the only word we can use to describe the state of it! We ended up sleeping on the bed settee cover and using clothes for pillows. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and we did struggle to sleep. ||||We also didn't realise that there was 2 tariffs - if you stay up to 3 days you get a cleaner, bedding, use of tv and wifi. If you stay longer than 3 days, as we were suppose to be staying 5 days, you dont get the cleaning done, no use of tv, no free wifi and luckily enough as we were staying in self catering accommodation we packed bedding. We also had to make an appointment 48hrs prior to leaving to ensure our room was cleaned to a certain standard or be charged 39 euros and if we wanted use of a tv/wifi we would have to buy a 'comfort pack. ||||This is mentioned in the small print but we feel that is you pay more for staying 3 days and less for staying more than 3 days what is the point of charging less to charge more once you get there!||||The final straw was when, on the second day we went to put the bed settee up and realised that the mattress we had slept on had 2 stains on it a very large stain and a smaller stain it was disgusting! We decided to leave but had to stay another night till we could arrange alternative accommodation. ||||We complained to the receptionist and she agreed that the bedding was not of an acceptable standard and took pictures to show her boss. We have had to pay extra to stay somewhere else and were not offered any refund by the company but will be contacting booking.com. ||||The room small comprising of a bed settee in the lounge that makes a double bed at night - a small kitchenette with no room to store anything, you have combi oven to cook with but trying to toast toast was difficult, not enough storage space for clothes and too much inappropriate furniture ie coffee tables instead of more draws for putting clothes in. The bathroom was probably the best part of the whole accommodation. ||||The area surrounding the complex if like a concrete jungle and is full of empty concrete shops/offices it is not nice but as we booked in haste we hadnt checked and am sure if we had we would never have booked this place.||||Not a nice experience and very expensive as we left 2 days earlier having to pay extra for alternative accommodation!! Our advice is avoid like the plague - or stay only 3 days at least then you get what you normally expect to get anywhere else!!!!||||PS Beware the spa and fitness suite was all at an...
Read moreWe booked the apartment through the booking.com. The staff was very friendly and welcoming even when we arrived 5 min before they close the reception (7pm) We received a list of French markets and 7 trips, places to visit in each day of stay, no further then 60 min of driving. It was very accurate and helpful. Our studio was smaller then we expected. It wasn't clean enough for me, the curtains definitely remembered last season! Not too much space for our clothes or shoes- only very small wardrobe. Kitchen equipment was exactly and only for two, so we needed to buy extra cups for tea, glasses for wine, some cleaning stuff, extra toilet paper. The internet with extra cost was very slow. The sofa bed was very comfortable though :) bathroom was spacious with extra towel drier. Swimming pool was clean but quite small, shallow (1.3m at deep end) and mostly occupied by kids. A few sun-beds unfortunately with age marks so you need your towel to put on it. Generally nice area, but everything depends from your neighbours- if they are smokers, you'll smell it! If they like partying you'll hear it! The best apartments are with the balcony, so make sure you will have one! Everything what you will need to buy is about 5min by car from your apartment, big mall in Vannes. This place had mostly French guests, but it wasn't any problem with that....
Read moreWe have just returned from a week at these apartments and after reason reviews were dreading it! It was difficult to find and is indeed situated on a retail park however is only 10 mins drive into Vanne and is surrounded by a most beautiful bike ride that you can go on, taking about 2 hrs. Bikes can be hired from the apartments for half or full days.||So back to the apartments, on checking in we were shown through to another lady who say down and went through all the apartment facilities etc and activities for the week and also told us of a welcome meeting the following evening. We were given the keys to the apartment and off we went.||The apartment was big, airy and very clean. It was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. ||The pool is lovely and is usually quiet until about 12. The busiest time seems to be from 3pm onwards when sun beds can e of a premium but generally people are coming and going all the time and so it's not an issue.||Whilst we were there we never met any other English family but were surrounded by very friendly French families and some Belgians too! ||So to put in a nutshell we had a great time here. The location isn't the greatest but the apartment, very helpful staff and lovely French families made is feel very welcome and we would certainly go...
