Vilaine Camping Les Rives — Hotel in Vannes

Great camping with plenty of space. The owners are very friendly and can give you a bunch of information about things to do. One of the owners speaks English but it would be better if you speak a little bit French. The showers are warm en the toilets clean. However, one push on the showerbutton is only four seconds. It's a bit short to clean longer hair and you can imagine shaving is a challenge. The location of the camping is great. So many things to see and to do. Supermarkets are nearby. The boulangerie/patissery in Camoël has plenty to offer and a killer lemon-meringue pie. Wifi is available for €15,- a week. There are also daily and hourly prices but I don't know them. Once you're online the wifi is fine but everytime you put your phone down the connection is lost and you have to log in again. All in all a great camping and we would definately recommend it. We had a wonderful time on this camping. It’s has a great location next to the port (or better, barrage d’Arzal) which is just a walk away. The reception was great and the super friendly host walked with us to our lodge/chalet. We where located next to the two horses and some goats and sheep on a big patch. They get treated so nice by the owners and you are able to pet them :) which my daughter of 7 surely liked a lot.|The chalet was clean and it had all the necessities. |The camping site is often visited by local foodtrucks with some great foods. Superbe camping, hyper adapté pour les familles avec enfant. Nous sommes restés 7 nuits, en tente avec deux enfants de 10 mois et 2 ans et demi, plus un chien.

Les emplacements sont très spacieux et correctement ombragé. Les sanitaires sont irréprochables. Propres, papier toilette, savon pour les mains, essuie main, vous trouvez en libre accès un sèche cheveux, un micro ondes et un congélateur (extra pour les pains de glace de la glacière quand on est sous tente !!). Le camping est engagé pour le climat. Tri des déchets, compost, messages pour réduire la consommation d'eau dans les douches, etc.

Énorme + pour les jeunes enfants : il y a une baignoire bébé (encastré sur un plan de travail à la hauteur d'un lavabo) avec une table à langer à côté. Un peu plus loin, une salle de douche "parent-enfant" avec deux douches côtes à côtés (une à hauteur d'adulte, et l'autre à hauteur d'enfant). Et tout ça avec du matériel neuf, bien entretenu et propre ! Le parc de jeux permets aux petits de s'amuser (toboggan, balançoires et autres jeux bien entretenus), mini ferme au fond du camping pour le plaisir des tous petits. Il y a aussi un espace d'échange/emprunt de livre où notre fille a trouvé son bonheur pour les histoires du soir.

Nous n'avons pas utilisé les autres services comme la location de vélo, les food trucs présents quelques soirs dans la semaine, la possibilité de commander du pain chaque matin, etc mais ils méritent d'être signalé :)
