Camping étape en forêt, Normandie, Calvados — Hotel in Vire

My partner, baby and I stayed at Etape en Foret for 1 week and had a great time. I fully recommend this as a base from which to explore the Normandy region because there are lots of great outdoor activities that don’t need a drive. ||||Lots of nice walks and runs that are really well signposted (the location is right by a hub of footpaths and scenic mountain bike routes).||Day trips across Normandy within 1 hours’ drive (beaches, Bayeux, Granville, Le Mont St Michel) – and the nice but less impressive Villedieu-les-Poeles and Vire.||Also we rented the sauna/outdoor heated Nordic bath on the site, and there was a which was fun. The site was under new management it turned out and the two new managers were brilliant, always happy to help. ||||The restaurant had recently re-opened. We stayed in a tree house, which was lovely and different. But all the choices looked just as good. Staff were helpful and friendly. The location is beautiful, walking distance to the town and a lake. It’s a nice walk through the forest. Activities on site are limited especially for teenagers, so take lots to do to stop their moans and get them off their phone!||There’s a supermarket in town but sadly France is more expensive for food...

Un emplacement de rêve en pleine forêt avec le chant des oiseaux pour agrémenter vos journées, de belles ballades à réaliser dans cette magnifique forêt. Les lodges sont particulièrements bien aménagés avec un confort très appréciable. La literie est très confortable avec du linge bien propre, des oreillers confortables. L'espace principal est trés fonctionnel avec un coin cuisine, plaques pour faire la cuisine, réfrigérateur, coin évier, petit espace avec la vaisselle, bouilloire, tassimo... Il ne manque absolument rien pour s'installer et prendre possession des lieux. Au centre de ce petit espace une table ronde avec 4 chaises. Un petit canapé pour deux qui peut se transformer en lit supplémentaire. Dans ce lodge nous pouvons être 5 personnes. Au RDC petite salle de bain avec douche et évier. Serviettes de toilette à disposition. Partie sanitaire dans une autre petite pièce. Le lodge est d'une propreté irréprochable avec de la lingerie parfaite du RDC au premier étage.|L'accueil est particulièrement sympathique avec la possibilité de disposer de raquettes pour le ping pong, le badminton, jeuxde plein air...Du fait de la qualité des l'espaces, des services et des prestations diverses, le prix est tout à fait correcte.
