We chose Eco-gîtes of Lenault for a long family weekend with our 7 year old and 1 year old. We were looking for a green, quiet and nature getaway that would accommodate our family and that's exactly what we found, and more. Arriving we were greated by Rosie, Simon and their sweet dogs. Nestled away between small valleys and trees, the gite had everything we needed for comfort (high chair, baby bed, etc.), for entertaining the little ones (lots of children's toys, games, outdoor swing and slide, trampoline, etc.) and for security (three floors each with security gates for the baby). The gite was very clean and even offered a welcome kit with home made jam and baked goods (very yummy!). Very well located, we made day trips to Mont St Michel (1 hour drive), the D-Day beaches (1 hour) and a visit to the Parc Zoologique in Jurques (20 minutes), which we highly recommend. Rosie was very sweet to let our 7 year old daughter help her out around the farm, feeding the animals and learning about "farm life" - which made a real impression on her. All in all, we truly enjoyed our stay and we've saved the address for future visits to Swiss Normandy (which we hope to do again soon). We highly reccommend Eco-Gîtes de Lenault. Thank you Rosie and...
Read moreWe spent a fabulous week here. The Gite is located in a peaceful setting surrounded by beautiful countryside. We found it was perfect for walking with paths outside the property and local walks recommended on their website. We also found it was an easy location for driving to some of the key areas such as the Beaches, Caen, Bayeux, and Mont St Michel. The gite was very clean, comfortable and the hosts Rosie and Simon have ensured it is well furnished and had everything we needed. There is great outdoor space for barbecues, games, and relaxing. There are also areas on the site for many animals including pigs, sheep, ducks, turkeys, cats and very friendly dogs which added to our experience. Rosie and Simon were very welcoming and ensured our stay was comfortable and looked after us very well. Highly recommended, and we'll...
