Hôtel Résidence Le Jomonia — Hotel in Estuaire Province

There are all kinds of expensive hotels in LBV, most of which are overrated. This one is the nicest I have been outside of 5 Star range and I prefer it. The rooms are nice, the furniture is really beautiful, the location is good from the airport and to the city, and the quatrier is non-hussle. Staff is nice and they do their best. Keep in mind that this is Africa You can easily end up in a beautiful hotel with perfect internet connection but without running (or any water other than bottles) over three days. Gabon still is in the 1970s.||Still, the staff is helpful, room service good, security good, location good (there is a CECADO supermarket 15 min walk away), rooms are nice, and breakfast is ok. I stayed for a couple of nights, mainly because it was easy to book online and I managed to find it on the map. As usual, Tripadvisor location is wrong and hell will freeze over before it is corrected, but booking.com has it spot on. It is in a quiet residential area. The accommodation is basic and the rooms very small and a bit dark. Rooms are air conditioned. They are clean enough though and the beds are comfortable. The staff are all helpful. Food was pretty good. Breakfast is basic with a choice of croissants, omelette and so on. Wifi worked well. The small pool looks OK if you need that. Parking is available outside...
