It’s definitely very good but I took one way from Kobi to Gadauri and still they charged GEL 45 - kids GEL 35 (which is actually a charge for round trip). She said one cable car is GEL 14 and I will need to ride 4 cable cars. So if I don’t go for return it will cost me GEL 56! She didn’t mention that there are total 4 cable cars to ride but 2 are free and two chargeable so I could have just spent GEL 28 instead of 45!
Anyways GEL 45 was even worth! Nice view. It’s the longest cable car ride I had, if you don’t stop on each station, it takes about 45 minutes to reach to Gudauri from Kobi.
In Gadauri you have few activities:
kid’s bike riding - GEL 50 adult bike riding - GEL 100 (you can negotiate to 80) you can get ski gears (adult GEL 50, kids 30 and instructor GEL 120 - you can negotiate this prices) you can also get skate board shoes in case you are not wearing snow shoes. Normal charge is GEL 30 but you can...
Read moreOur trip to Kobi-Gudauri Ski Resort was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by the majestic Caucasus Mountains and covered in a thick blanket of snow, the resort offered a winter wonderland like no other. The fresh mountain air, the sparkling white slopes, and the breathtaking views created a perfect setting for an unforgettable family adventure.
My children were beyond excited as they played in the snow, tried skiing, and took their first ride on the gondola lift—it was pure joy watching their laughter echo across the mountains. Whether we were enjoying the slopes, sipping hot drinks by the chalet, or simply admiring the views, every moment felt like a beautiful escape from everyday life.
Kobi-Gudauri isn’t just a ski resort—it’s a place where memories are made, laughter is shared, and the beauty of winter becomes a story you’ll...
Read moreWe stayed at Kazbegi and tried this very long ski lift up to Gudauri (top slopes). It was an excellent experience: no snow in Kazbegi but a lot of snow at the highest point and at the third stop. We first took a cab to this first station (we paid 70gel) and we bought tickets from that station for 30gel return ticket per adult (20es for kids). The women explained everything, especially the max return time to catch the last gondola. The ski lift first goes up to the 2nd station (reaching the bottom of the ski slope). Then you change for the third station (highest point and beginning of a few ski slopes) and then last part down to the Gudauri uptown where you can find a lot of cafes and restaurants with wonderful views on the slopes and surrounding mountains. What a view!!! We really loved the experience which took...
