We, a group of 18 from Yongo comprising Singaporeans and Malaysians stayed here for 3 nights|This is a family run hotel,located on the main road of Mestia. Deco is rustic with alot of fake pine wood. Rooms are very basic and small but have attached toilet and hot water. No fridge, TV or kettle. ( the heater was not on during our stay so rooms were cold )The wifi reception was zero in my room but good in the dinning and common room. Some parts of the hotel were in need of repair. The compound,untidy with things strewn about. |There is a common room on the 2nd floor with fridge, hot water dispenser and an amazing view of the river running behind. |Laundry is available at 10GEL per bag|Staff communication is difficult as not many understand English but are otherwise polite and helpful. |Located next to Uspha cafe where we had our breakfast and dinner. |Breakfast is ok. |Summary: Basic budget stay with decent food and hospitality which I dont mind...
Read moreThis is a guest house rather than a hotel. During our stay the owners themselves were away on holiday, and the place just did not run properly. The staff were unsupervised, and clearly not keen to bother with guests.||||On a three night stay our room was not serviced at all||||Dinner was mountainous quantities of tourist food of medium quality - after the first night we found a better restaurant in town. Breakfast was mountainous quantities of food which was recycled from one table to the next - for example we got a plate of a dozen cold fried eggs left by a group who had eaten earlier. I did enjoy their pancakes though which were freshly cooked.||||Our room had a balcony, was at the back of the hotel, and overlooked the river. Read moreWhen I at first arrived at Ushba guesthouse.||There was a very welcoming family coming out, ||invited me to their house with a big smile! ||I felt so good after a spent a few days hiking and camping in around Mestia . ||||Then at night, I got a very big and wonderful homemade Georgian dinner with some homemade wine which was just wonderful!||||The lady in the house can give so many great advices on beautiful places to go in the surrounding area.
