Hotel Lindenberger Hof - Ahrensfelde — Hotel in Ahrensfelde

We were booked here by our company and it is a simple, clean hotel. Adequate breakfast. Rooms were fine. The WiFi only works in the lobby and does not connect in the rooms.|| ||However, the restaurant within/annexed to the hotel was supposed to be open until 11pm but when we arrived at 10pm the restaurant owner was smoking on the terrace and told us it was closed. Good job there's a McDonald's nearby. ||||However, our colleague sat on the piano stool in his room and one of the legs broke causing him to fall backwards and bang his head on the corner of the desk. When he informed reception of this, there was no apology or expression of concern. They offered no customer service. But then followed us out to our vehicle as we checked out and insisted that our colleague speak to the manager as they would need to charge him for the broken stool. Appalling customer service and lack of empathy. We did not pay for the broken stool but to be treated in this way is ridiculous. I will not...

Group travel, staying two nights. The rooms were ok, nothing special, cheap pillows, generally old. The clerk was unfriendly from the start, food served in the restaurant was sub par at best. Good thing there's a McDonald's nearby. The restaurant is independent from the hotel, but in the hotel, so to guests it seems like one entity. They also share the bad temper. ||They demanded €10 reimbursement for towels that some of the girls got some mascara on. They apparently don't have a cleaner. An old door with some bad hinges required a quick fix (which we did ourselves). Before they even checked it properly they demanded a whopping €3000 reimbursement. For a door with an approximate cost of €200-250.||Suffice it to say, I'm not returning...

This place is very nice. We came here with the bus 🚌 tour from the Netherlands and stayed here for 3 nights. The breakfast 🥞🍳 was very rich and nice. I had to contain myself from taking 3 servings 🤭. The rooms are great, nice and simple. Bathrooms have their own soap 🧼 in a tube which was new for me. There was a television 📺 but in German. However, the further you are from the reception the weaker the internet connection is. It's not far from the center of Berlin. Just a 40 minute drive.
