Great site. Access is very easy with plenty of parking before checking in. Owners are friendly and helpful and give some great information about the area. Pitches are large.Shower block is excellent and always kept very clean. Cafe is great for food and drink. Only thing that we fell foul of is not being able to read the sign in German which said they don’t take credit cards. Thankfully the owner was very understanding and we resolved the situation. Your experience in this camping depends on the person taking charge of the reception. The woman doing the afternoon shift is agreeable helpful and friendly, while the man assuming the morning shift is disagreeable, pretentious and capable of telling you to leave the parking area in front of the reception, where you parked two minutes to make sure of your way next on the map, bearing in mind that there is enough space for new vehicles coming to check in. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming place. Got there few minutes after 9 pm, the place was a ghost town. No one to help, no one to let you in, no one to pick up the phone, no info on how to proceed after the reception is closed. Stood in front of the gate for 15 min, rung a bell at the building which said “campsite “, just to see a woman look out of a window and go back in, I guess they don’t really care, look for a place that does care, this one...
