Reichel's Parkhotel — Hotel in Bad Windsheim

If you are not a German local, I do not recommend staying at this hotel. My husband and I stayed here and the price of the hotel was €109. We were asked to email all of our Credit card numbers and information to the hotel (which we refused obviously). Once we arrived we were charged tourist fees and multiple other fees on top of the room that ended up being €143 for one night. The room looked nothing like it did online. It was infested with stink bugs, lady bugs, and other small insects. Staff is not very accommodating at all If you do not speak German. The Comfort Suite is just 2 twin beds pushed together that constantly slide apart throughout the night. If you do not want to get ripped off and overcharged for the bare minimum, stay away from this hotel!!

I will definitely stay here again because of the staff mainly. Love the owners and the staff is very friendly. Most speak English. The suite is big with no shower only tub with hand shower nozzle. Other rooms are small with little bathrooms and small showers. Need to be cleaned, inside shower has mold. Beds are comfy, firm, with down comforters. Mornings they offer European breakfast with meats, cheeses, pretzels, breads, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea, juices. It's a very pretty area you can look out over the park. We stayed for 3 nights. I booked the comfort room which was nice and big.plenty of room and the refrigerator kept the drinks nice and cold. The bathroom was also very big the only problem was the bathtub. There was a space that traps the water when you take a shower and they didn’t provide room service to clean the room that day. So my wife called the front desk to see if they can come and clean it. The response was the bath tub is to take a bath not a shower.
