Hotel Plovdiv Berlin — Hotel in Berlin

Incredibly cheap by the Berlin standards. Staff is multilingual and as friendly as it gets. Breakfast included and is pretty good, nothing fancy about it but it tastes fine so I’m satisfied.

The apartment was clean [though I checked other reviews and that might not be the case at all times] and pretty cozy. Again, not too luxurious, a typical room with two twin-beds, a closet and a tv. Netflix was a nice bonus. We also had a personal bathroom, no complaints about it. Sadly, no fridge.

The location is a bit away from the city. This place is chill and nothing disturbs your sleep, but the downside is it takes an hour to get to the city centre. The nearest S-Bahn station is around 10 minutes away on foot and there is also a bus which drives to another one.

Being honest, the hotel is somewhere between mid to good, and I would rate it 3.5/5 out of context. But I absolutely loved the staff members who always insisted to help and were up to anything I asked for. Plus, the price is still very guest-friendly. So I can’t help but rate it a five in...

Stayed here whilst visiting family.||||The owner collected me from the airport. They upgraded my room from a single to double without being asked, which gave me more space. Although not an expert I would class the decor a Bavarian, dark wood and a little overpowering. However it was clean. The breakfasts were good. I did not use the restaurant at an other times but the smells coming from the kitchen were delicious,and usually a fair amount of people eating there.|| ||It is quite a way to Berlin centre but the bus stops right outside the hotel. After a day in the city ||this hotel has a lovely quiet atmosphere to relax in.||||It would have been good to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, however the owner was happy to provide an insulated flask full of hot water for drinks.||||I would be happy to stay...

Wir waren im dazugehörigen Restaurant. Außer uns waren nur an einem Tisch noch 2 Gäste die vor und ihr Essen bekamen. Das Restaurant und die Einrichtung wirkte auf uns schlicht einfach gehalten und durchaus in die Jahre gekommen. Wir bekamen die Karte und schon beim bestellen wirkte die Kellnerin nicht gerade professionell. Weder ging Sie auf wünsche ein noch bot Sie Alternativen an. Der bestellte Kaffee wurde wenig später von ihr storniert da die Maschine jetzt kaputt sei. Wenig später bekamen wir mit wie die beiden anderen Gäste auf die Frage der Kellnerin wie es geschmeckt hat antworten dass es nicht gut war und die Teller halb voll zurück ging. Keine Entschuldigung kein Nachlass. |Wir bekamen unser Essen. Der Beilagen Salat war bis auf die fehlende Würze und einem Dressing das wohl vor dem Salat auf den Teller kam genießbar. Das bestellte Schweinrückensteak mit Zitronen Pfeffer Kruste Kartoffelgratin mit Rahm Champion Sauce war grenzwertig und eher schlechte Hobby Küche als gekonnt. Die Sauce mit Champions in der Mikrowelle aufgetaut dadurch alles wässrig. Rückensteak hatte mit einem solchen nichts zu tun und war geschmacklich eine Katastrophe. Innen war das Fleisch roh und null blutig nur glasig roh. Der Salat meines Sohnes war ok und das bestellte Schweinefilet meiner Frau ebenso schmeckte wenigstens nach Fleisch die Röstzwiebeln glasig mit viel zu viel Öl ähnlich wie auch die Bratkartoffeln.|Auch haben auf die Frage ob alles recht gewesen ist genauso reklamiert und selbst die Kellnerin hat gesehen dass das Fleisch nicht in Ordnung war. Anstelle sich zu entschuldigen rechtfertigte Sie sich damit dass halt nicht jeder Tag gleich sein kann und Sie hätten heute auch schon eine Veranstaltung gehabt .... Kein Wort der Entschuldigung und kein Versuch der Wiedergutmachung... Zu guter letzt kam noch eine Katze hinter der Theke in die Gaststube und bettelte am Tisch.|Die verlangte Rechnung wurde gebracht der volle Preis berechnet. Von 4 Hotel Gästen die zwischenzeitlich nach unten kamen erfuhr ich, dass das Frühstück aber ganz ok sei. Ein schwacher Trost ....|Sorry hier kann ich nicht empfehlen sondern nur raten fern...
