Hotel NH Stuttgart Airport — Hotel in Filderstadt

A hotel that I called my second home after staying here close to 3 months for business.

Room: spacious, comfortable, and a nice plus is the double queen size bed is a full bed not 2 twins combined (small detail I enjoyed)

Bathroom: really clean, has a bathtub that you can shower in, they provide shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, and body lotion

Breakfast: a wide selection of cheese and cold cuts, salad options, fresh pretzels, fresh fruit, pancakes, and you can even ask for your own personalized omelette. They even offer fresh honey comb which is a nice touch.

Room service/bar: although the menu is limited, the food is delicious and very quick to prepare

Staff: probably the friendliest people I've met! Such kindness and professionalism combined together, they really are welcoming and made me feel at home

Gym: small yet effective, they have the techno gym unica equipment that let's you do over 20 docent exercises, a treadmill, elliptical machine, and a rack of dumbbells. They have a sauna too. (these are free with the superior room)

The hotel offers parking at 16 euros a night in one of their two parking areas, there normally is no problem finding a parking spot.

The area the hotel is in does not have much to do, but it's a short drive from the airport and a lot of small towns that are worth visiting. You can take the airport shuttle to and from the hotel, and you can use that to get to the S-bahn.

I would recommend this hotel if you plan on staying...

Nice hotel We came in the hotel at 22.12.2022 in the late evening. We were accommodated in room 315. The room is cozy, not small, warm (this is so important), there is a refrigerator, safe, a TV with many channels, a very comfortable large bed, a comfortable wardrobe, there was tea and coffee, a kettle, hair dryer. Also shampoo, hair conditioner, shower gel, soap container and hand lotion From the bad it was - no soap in the soap container. Also convenient location, good parking, beautiful everything. The most important thing is that you can bring your pets to the hotel. We were with the cat. The breakfasts at the hotel are excellent, with a wide selection. On the 23rd, everything was very fresh. But 24 not so much. For example, lettuce leaves were already a bit inedible. Also a great restaurant. Very tasty. Pleasant staff. The kitchen is open until 21:30. We've stayed in the hotel from Aug, 8 till Aug, 15, 2017. Actually, we're still staying here. The place is very close to the airport, but if you don't hire a car it'll take you more then an hour to get to the city. The rooms are nice and neat and the breakfast is very well, except one point - no salad was all this week. The rest is under the red line. Cleaning is awful - the cleaner from one side didn't remove any dust nor swept the floor in the room and left teacups dirty on the table where the were left in the morning even after complaints and from other side she had thrown away my full small bottle of whiskey together with empty bottles of water. After my complaint about the issue I've received a letter on desk in the room saying: "Regarding the missing bottle, I'm sorry to inform you the it was removed from the room by our housekeeping staff. We were informed that the bottle was removed due to the bottle being completely empty. I do hope this is not too much of inconvenience for you."

As usual in cheap places their policy as follows - guest leis to get something more. The staff tries so hard to clean that leaves dirty cups on the desk and after complaints, the reception even didn't apologize.
