Oberschwäbischer Hof — Hotel in Gemeindeverwaltungsverband Schwendi

I recently stayed here for a business training. I will admit, when I pulled up I thought the hotel would not be so nice as it seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. However, I was incredibly impressed with the staff and they made up for the smaller aspects I didn't like so much.||||Pros:||- The food is excellent. ||- The staff is friendly and accomodates nearly every request (vegetarian, lactose free, gluen free, you name it)||- The surrounding area is gorgeous||- The bowling alley downstairs is so much fun for large groups||- The balconies off each room are lovely||- Housekeeping did a fantastic job||- The meeting rooms were so full of light and made 8 hour meetings much easier||||Areas to Improve:||- The pillows aren't really pillows. I stacked them all together and still could not get enough firmness||- The fitness center was only a treadmill, elliptical and one machine. They need at least free weights||||I would...

We held our wedding reception at the Oberschwäbischer Hof in January 2018 and it couldn't have been a more perfect day! ||Mr & Mrs. Reisch were there to support us and answer all of our questions within a few hours in the weeks leading up to the wedding and tried their very best to accommodate all of our wishes and despite of literally giving them 3 weeks to put together a menu, arrange decorations and extra staff, it was all: perfect!||We will never forget this day: the amazing delicious food, the excellent host service of Mr. Babic - our guests are still raving about him - and in general: a wonderful atmosphere paired with the highest standard of hospitality.||Our family stayed at the hotel and they lovey it. The rooms were very spacious, clean and decorated with so much taste.||We look forward to coming again next time. What a jewel!...

We were at motorway rest stop looking for a hotel and this came up as close. |Hotel is in a small village. There are free parking places. Hotel itself is new and tidy. Room looked brand new and very clean. Beds are comfortable. There is a small gym. Sauna is excellent and free every evening. Hotel has free wifi which works but sometimes drops. Restaurant is excellent. Food is really good and they have ok winelist. |They serve continental breakfast, which was included in the rate. Service is excellent. Rate is reasonable as it is in middle of countryside. Perfect for overnight stay when passing through...
