My dad and I went here for a weekend and stayed only for a night. We came dressed as vikings to visit local museums.
The stay was lovely. We were welcomed with open arms by a friendly lady, had a great room, the beds were very soft and cozy. The bathroom was perfect! spacious, straightforward and easy to access. We were even given advice where to dine!
Eventually the following morning came. We were greeted by a lovely breakfast. Tasty bread, a boiled egg, condiments, a warm drink, juice and even some dairy. the decorations in the breakfast hall all add to the experience.
The b&b has origins as a real biker b&b. There are loads of stickers from all over the world. Its situated in a quiet road. Theres a gass station quite close, so ideal for road trips! There is more than enough parking space too.
This summer my dad an I will defenitely visit again. This time using our (soon to be new) 50cc bikes.
Its safe to say we are looking forward to staying with you again!
side note: book directly, not on tripadvisor as they take a fee. These people deserve all support for the...
Read moreWe had such a lovely stay at the Bed & Breakfast in Dannevirke while traveling as a family with our 9-month-old baby and 3,5 year-old.
Breakfast was good. The room was tidy, clean, and very family-friendly.
We also enjoyed a simple and nice dinner (burgers and schnitzel) at Total Planlos in Owschlag, just an 8-minute walk from the B&B.
The location was convenient – close to the town center and just around the corner from a gas station, which was perfect for filling up. We were on our way to Denmark, and this B&B was a perfect stop to rest and recharge before continuing our journey the next day.
We left feeling refreshed and well cared for. Highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Dannevirke, especially families with young children. We would...

Nice private bathroom which is very clean and well equipped. Were there on a Tuesday and all local restaurants were closed so the manager piled my wife and I as well as four Danish gentlemen into her van and drove us all to the next town and an excellent Italian restaurant, MamaMia's . She came back two hours later and picked us up - no charge, no hassle , amazing . Breakfast filling and the breakfast room has character . They have a large lounge upstairs with extensive motorcycle memorabilia - really cool . A thoroughly good experience discovered...
