What an amazing place to stay - we were there for a long weekend with out two teenagers - all amenities packed into a compact space - but spotless, bright new and modern, set in a beautiful meadow type garden. Don't be surprised trying to find it - it's very residential and in a large back garden! Easy to self cater - we did - fridge not massive and wet room - take care if a lot are showering after one another as it drains v slowly! Family run and staff couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming - even with us arriving late at night in the pouring rain! If you don't have an EC Bank card - they don't take Credit Cards so have enough Cash to pay on dept. Nearby Vulcan Baths were great and beautiful old centre to Herbstein. The hostess is very attentive and hospitable. The rooms are per two in a kind of tiny house. The only thing you share with your 'neighbour' is the space where each has its kitchenette. There is a private fridge, you can buy and heat prepared meals, there is a sink and cutlery and crockery. The room itself is very neat and everything is provided: good bed, shower, toilet, sink, TV, private terrace with table and chairs. Very quiet location and in the garden you can relax blissfully among the greenery. A very pleasant experience. The breakfast was tasty and fresh and as extensive as you want. Wir verbrachten ein Wochenende in einem der 2-Personen-Module im herrlichen Garten von Frau Kaage. Was die Ausstattung des angeht kann ich mich der Bewertung von Christof K nur anschliessen. Wir haben wunderbar geschlafen! Und wir konnten den privaten Sitzplatz vor unserem Appartement und die Liegen im Garten nutzen. Auch das Haupthaus ist kundig renoviert und liebevoll ausgestattet, Geschmack und unaufdringliche Ästhetik bis in die kleinsten Details. Im roten Salon läßt es sich trefflich chillen. Frühstück kann man in der kleinen Küchenzeile des Moduls selbst machen oder bei Frau Kaage, der sehr netten Besitzerin buchen - ich würde immer letzteres vorziehen. Die Umgebung Herbsteins ist herrlich zum Wandern, gute Lokale sind in der Nähe, die Vulkantherme heisst die Wellness-Fans willkommen.
