Positives:|Location definitely is a big advantage of this hotel. General cleanliness of the hotel os really good, maybe apart of carpet in the room. Buffet breakfast was really tasty. Selection of different type of food would make happy every person :) It’s also good choice if you’re travelling with small baby. There are travel beds for the youngest quests, as well as high chairs in the restaurant area. Tv is available in the room, for anyone who has a time to use it :) Mostly German speaking channels, BBC was the one in English.||Things that might be improved:|I would recommend spending little bit more time on carpet in the room next time when cleaning :) We asked for one big bed, and got one. Lovely small hotel, conveniently located 5 mins walk from train station in Hildesheim and about 10 - 15 walk into town centre. Reception shuts at 9pm but late night check-in was made available to us using a key code they sent us by e-mail. The room key and an electronic door access fob were left in box outside side entrance to hotel for us. Buffet breakfast had a good selection of continental fare - hams, salamis, cheeses, lovely bread, boiled eggs, smoked salmon etc. there's was also scrambled eggs and bacon. Room was spotlessly clean, comfy bed and good quality linen. Our room (Room 1) had the added bonus of a patio balcony was was lovely for relaxing outside. Please note there is no lift. Stayed for a long weekend in this lovely small hotel located a few minutes walk from the station. Three of us sharing a room which was a perfect size (as long as you all get on). A beautiful historic building which according to a local was once a pub (many years ago). The interior boasts the original features but with modern upgrades. The bathroom was modern and well maintained.||Breakfast was nice with an array of continental breakfast items, cereals and bacon and eggs.
