Not even sure where to begin. Truly a wonderful Hotel! We got the superior double room search for a European hotel room, was quite spacious. From the moment we arrived, the staff were quite wonderful. Everybody was so friendly and so helpful. They made us feel very at home especially our 2-year-old. The rooms were quite modern. Given the age of the hotel. The only cautionary tale I have is that, since most hotels in Germany will not have air conditioning, you will want to sleep with the windows open (and don't worry, the weather here is beautiful!). Relating to the open window, the sound of the vehicles going by can be quite loud. However that did not keep us from sleeping at all (very, very well every night).

The restaurant is also very good and I felt the prices were on par with everywhere else. The breakfast buffet is the true show stopper. Everything was so amazingly fresh. There is an excellent selection of everything you could possibly want including a wine variety of teas! We were always served with a smile.

Let there be no mistake. This is truly hidden gem only a few minutes away from the town center, a wonderful boutique hotel in the hills. It is a literal 5 minute drive to the Hercules monument. We dont have anything negative to say about the hotel. Everything was working very well. The hotel is relatively new and well maintained. Service in the reception is good and all of the facilities are working as they should. Absolutely no issues on that part and considering the price, then it is an absolute bargain. ||||We also visited the restaurant at the hotel and that was on the other hand a disaster. It was quite booked on the day we visited, because of some corporate event. This resulted in the waitress being a bit stressed, but it was still handled very badly. We waited half an hour to get the menu. After that we was informed that some of the courses couldnt be served, because they were out of different things, but we got an option to order one burger, which was not served on the homemade bread that normally was served, but on some cheap bun from the supermarket. ||Considering Covid-19 we also observed that menu's were just delivered from one occapied table to another - without any cleaning - and after we had observed that one guest had been licking their fingers between every side swap in the menu. Disgusting and in the current covid situation absolutely not acceptable. ||||In total. 5 star for the hotel. 1 star for the restaurant. A lovely hotel just ouside Kassel, in 5 minutes by car to Hercules, one of the main attractions of the town. The hotel is alongside the road, but sound isolation and the window blinds contribute to a good night's sleep. The room has complimentary tea and coffee and still and sparkling water in glass bottles. We really appreciated it! The receptionists spoke good English and were always polite and helpful. The breakfast (included in the room price) was excellent. It was actually a big surprise as our family members have different preferences for breakfast. In the Mountain Park, however, everyone found what they wanted;-), freshly squeezed orange juice, soft-boiled eggs, fresh veggies, dried fruit and nuts, mini croissants (tasted heavenly)- just to name a few.
