Outdoorhotel Jäger von Fall — Hotel in Lenggries

Road tripping again and as usual far too late into the night and with heavy driving rain. Hadn't seen a light for miles and miles until suddenly encountered this hotel. It looks impressive and it is but what you get inside is a very straight forward honest clear cut service. It's somehow feels a bit hostel like in the room I had but the room was perfect in every aspect (I dont think there was tv so check on that). The restaurant is self service and there was a huge array of choice on offer. Even in the late hour that I arrived the chef was regularly bringing out fresh food and it was stunning, literally there was too much choice!!! Staff were very helpful for this lonely and weary road tripper and I was invited to join staff later at the bar for drinks that would continue deep into the night. I enjoyed a totally peaceful night and woke to enjoy a breakfast choice as amazing as all the other foods that were on offer the evening before. This isn't basic entry level hotel when I use words like hostel and self-service, this is top quality but in a classless environment that would appeal to all types of age group. I wanted to see and drive across Sylvenstein dam which is less than a minute away but I noted that many of the guests are staying for the hiking prospects in the surrounding countryside. I would easily book myself into this place again just to discover these hiking prospect and the thought of all the food on offer which by the way was .... as much as you could eat arrangement ;-) A great expereience and I came away feeling as though I had gained new friends who worked here....

We spent two days only in this small Bavarian hotel but we really could enjoy by beautiful nature the more than week after our life in hot Dubai.||Hotel has very nice rooms with wooden floor and balconies. Our room was really clean with comfortable bed. Room was good decorated and equipped with not TV only but with small CD player as well.||View from balcony there is really beautiful and we could not stop to look on green mountains. We have been surprised that water in mountain lake was pretty warm and it was even possible to swim and our 3 years daughter really enjoyed by this fact.||Hotel has really good restaurant with good selection of local food and beer but I cannot say that breakfasts were adequate to this level. This Outdoor Hotel in the middle of the beautiful bavarian nature offers you the best possibility to start for different adventures. In the sourounding area you can make tours with the mountain bike, trekking, snow shoe tours, canyoning or skiing. The beautiful lac ( a barrage lac ) Sylvenstein-Stausee is only 150 m away. The Hotel offers also the possibility to rent a wooden house for a Party - only 5 km away. If you want the Hotel do all Party Service for you. Or you can rent the Kotta on the back side of the Hotel. They also have different sauna´s and a whirl pool. The Kittchens Quality is also good.
