Rixbecker Alpen — Hotel in Lippstadt

The staff is really helpful and professional, actually more than in other very good places. The room was large and appropriate, the equipement was adequate for the price. The breakfast was a bit too simple but acceptable. The location is however not good, far away from the center and not in a particular location. Need taxi in any case. The biggest problem is the noise, both outside and inside. Even if really isolated, the house stands at a street crossing with lots of traffic at night. The windows are not good, so ask for a garden side room. Also inside the noise is propagating, the staircase is very loud. Honestly I had a really bad night, and that will not be easy to improve. As a tourist this is fine, but on business I would expect more silence. This is not a complain, the price level is really adequate with...

We arrived here around 11 am which is actually a little early for check-in. However, the owner was very friendly and had our three bed room prepared first. Compared to other hotels in Lippstadt, the room is slightly more spacious and furnished with massive wooden beds, wardrobe and desk. |The bathroom is bright and simple modern. However, it is only equipped with a shower and no bath tub.|We have already been looking forward to eating German bread and sausages again. This was completely fulfilled by the breakfast ☺️||Only negative aspects were the missing minibar / fridge for putting food and the long change intervals for towels and bed covers. Having two little children makes more dirt... |Nevertheless, we would always recommend this hotel to our friends...

I arrived at around 10pm without a reservation and was hugely relieved to find there was a room available. The room was immaculate and very quiet. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed a great night's sleep. The buffet breakfast was very pleasant with beautiful fresh bread, salami, cold meat, cheeses, a pot of coffee/tea and juices. The owner was an amiable sort of chap and this helped make my brief stay a pleasant one. Its about a mile and a half outside central Lippstadt in a good neighbourhood. At 55 Euros with breakfast included I thought it was tremendous value for money and would recommend...
