We had a one-week stay in Lampllehen and it was brilliant. The owner and staff are all family and friends. They treated us warmly with every encounter. Owners are multilingual; Czech, German & English are all used interchangeably. Breakfast is typical German with meats, cheeses, breads, eggs, yogurt, musli & more. Dinners are variants of Czech, Italian and German. We finished everything! Our room was spacious double bed with a desk, table with a chair and another lounge-chair thingy that converts to a bed if you want a third bed. Television - works fine but we didn't watch. They have a really fast internet connection so we avoided TV entirely. Additionally, we got great advice about local attractions. So good that we altered some of our plans and very we're happy for the local knowledge. Only one complaint was the local farmer spread manure on the meadows! We had a great time at the Lampllehen hotel as we stayed there for a week. The hotel is very well situated for the trips (Salzburg, Kehlstein/Eagle´s Nest, Königsee, Jenner, Almbachklamm and so on). The owners of the hotel are very nice people, very helpful and careful, and they will do everything they are able to do to let you feel comfortable. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are large and comfortable. We purchased room and half-board (breakfast and dinner). Food is absolutely delicious, prepared from the fresh food. Breakfast will make you stronger for the whole daytrip and then you look forward to perfect dinner served by Mr. or Mrs. Rehak :) Dinner is composed of three courses - soup or salad, main course, dessert. Every morning Mr. Rehak will advise you what is possible to do all day and his advices are absolutely accurate.
