Hotel Kruse Zum Hollotal — Hotel in Neuenkirchen-Vörden

We booked this hotel as a stopover to Denmark from the netherlands. It is a little of the motorway but very reachable. It's a very quiet location. Plenty of parking space. Besides being a hotel they also have a big party space. Rooms are cheap. Well enough equipped, but perhaps a little dated. Breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant. Nothing spectacular but good enough. Staff is friendly and helpful. They left a hand written note for us with the key at the front desk due to late arrival and directions...

We used this as a halfway stopover between Denmark and France and we were delighted to have found such a gem of a hotel. It's ideally located close to the A1 but is a world apart. I have stayed here twice in the past few years. This last time I took a double room which is nice and spacious, and still good value.||||Rooms are basic (as per most German business hotels) but clean and comfortable.
