VILOTEL - Hotel & Restaurant — Hotel in Oberkochen

I had what I can only describe as the worst stay ever. From the moment I arrived, I encountered a series of issues that made my stay uncomfortable and frustrating. The room was unbearably hot, and despite attempts to cool it down, the air conditioning system was not functioning properly, which made it very difficult to get any rest or relaxation. To make matters worse, I discovered a bug in the room, which immediately raised concerns about the cleanliness and overall hygiene standards of the accommodations.||||Additionally, during breakfast, I noticed flies around the buffet area, which further diminished my confidence in the cleanliness and quality of the food service. This combination of issues left me feeling uneasy and dissatisfied with my stay. ||||Given these experiences, I would not recommend this place to others, as I believe there are better options available that prioritize guest comfort and cleanliness. On the surface it’s all nice, modern, great attention to detail, etc.|The key features of the rooms include soundproofing and climate control. Our room failed miserably on both accounts.||At 7 AM it was as if they were redoing our floor, in fact it was just housekeeping on the floor below. First of all, housekeeping at 7 AM is too early, secondly the buildings design causes noise to travel far, mainly the echo through the staircase (all bare concrete, looks great, echos even better)||We arrived at approx. 9 PM, as we get to the room it’s 23 C inside (12 C outside). The climate control was set to 18 C , with 17,5 C being the lowest possible.|Nothing seemed to be happening. According to the front desk it is supposed to take a while (30 min. or so) and that their system is noiseless.|After waiting an hour we opened the windows as we desperately needed a good night sleep, it quickly cooled down to 19 C.||Temperatures of 20+ C at night are unhealthy, especially...

We’re a couple with a dog and we stayed for 9 nights here at Vilotel and we must say, this is really one of the best hotels you can stay at. Nothing to complain about, really.

What we loved, and it is a long list! Modern, interior design Pristine clean Huge window, with lots of natural light Breakfast Restaurant (for dinner) Lots of electrical sockets in the room Fast WiFi There’s a lot of grass just outside the hotel which our dog really loved Super friendly staff. Very welcoming and accommodating. Free parking just beside the hotel. We stayed for one night on the paid parking inside the premises and it is clean, safe and high-tech. Pet friendly! Even the dog bed is high quality. The mattress is really comfortable to sleep on!
