Precise Resort Hafendorf Rheinsberg — Hotel in Rheinsberg

We took a spontaneous trip out of the Berlin city to this place in Brandenburg. We were looking for a relaxing time with food and a little spa. All in all it was okay. If you look at the hotel from the outside in its entirety it looks nice. However, once you get inside it all feels a little dated and in need of a little renovation. When we entered our room there was a weird smell which came from the shower drain. It was easily solved with a little hot water and didn't return but upon entry it didn't leave a great first impression. We mentioned it at the checkout and they apologized and let housekeeping know to make sure this wouldn't happen again. Other than that the staff was friendly, attentive and everything else was clean as far as we could tell and see.

The hotel has a simple pool, a steam sauna and a regular finish sauna as well as a wellness lounge where you could book a massage. Sadly, no more appointments were available so I am unable to rate any massage service. The sauna and pool areas are nothing fancy but they served their purpose. We had the half board (Halbpension) with breakfast buffet and dinner buffet and here the hotel makes up some ground. We were very happy with the food options which also had enough for my vegetarian wire. To us it was very delicious and we were looking forward to it everyday.

In general we don't think that we'll be back as it didn't leave that lasting impression for us and there is not too much to do. However, if you are looking to get away from a hectic time and don't have too high expectations then this is an appropriate deal and helps you to slow down this is...

In addition to its excellent location, it offers fantastic opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, as well as a large swimming pool with a spa area.||||Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted at the reception by the very kind Maria M., who explained all the hotel facilities, breakfast times, and parking arrangements. She went above and beyond by helping us get some drinks for the evening, even though the bar was already closed and the room’s minibar did not have beverages.||||The pool is impressively large (25 meters) with pleasantly warm water, and it wasn’t crowded despite the hotel being well occupied. The outdoor area is perfect for walks and enjoying the beautiful lake views.||||Our spacious room had a terrace overlooking the small marina and the lake — an ideal spot for morning coffee and relaxation. Overall nice and clean with lots of cute nautical-theme details. Choice of restaurants for dinner. Good range of choice in the breakfast buffet. Nice, spacious pool and spa area. Live music in the restaurant on Saturday night. Good views of the cute "harbour village" houses out the front and of the surrounding forest on the other sides.

Unfortunately, the overbearing air-freshener in the lobby hit me like a wave every time I walked through there. Strong to the point of being unpleasant. Fortunately the rest of the hotel wasn't perfumed anywhere near as heavily.

Would have been nice to have some options for late evening snacks such as a cheese platter or even a vending machine.
