We stayed at the hotel for a couple of days. It is nicely located in a small village not far from the highway between Munich and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Within less than an hour of walk through a wonderful forest (or 10 minutes of driving) you have the beautiful Schäftlarn baroque monastery, the river Isar or the Starnberg lake.||||The hotel itself was a disappointment, however. The hotel is filthy and run-down, the rooms and the corridors are dirty, and so are the bath rooms. Spider webs indicate for how long our room was not properly cleaned. Kitchen and cigarette smell penetrates the building. The staff is kind, but completely unresponsive and slow, if they should appear. It is definitely better value for money than the rooms for which the price is exaggerated (in comparison to similar accomodation in...
Read moreI visited here in the autumn on my way to Oberammergau for a course. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic (I was here during low season in the morning). The staff was very nice and treated me exceptionally well considering my weak Deutsche. I'll...

The small tub-shower combination was difficult to use, as the shower head fell off easily, and moving around was difficult. I managed to get the bathroom quite wet as a result of this. The employees were nice and helpful, and the breakfast was ample with a choice of cooked eggs. We ate dinner here a couple of times, and weren't disappointed in the quantity or quality...
